I think 225 for 2 hours and then bring it up to 350. I was confused also at first thinking I had to rush to get a bag of ice to cool down the grill……😂😜
These are in fact Traeger. They have a new bag so that’s why it may look different. My store - ace hardware - had both at the same time. I’ve seen them on Amazon too.
Trying this tomorrow. It's my first time cooking a turkey. It's right under 9 lbs, so it might cook even quicker than yours. I was looking for a recipe without brine.

We did this last Christmas. It was the best turkey I ever ate in my entire life.
So glad to hear! Just added new recipes to sipbitego.com.
25 degrees. 275 degrees, 300 degrees, 350 degrees, Sorry hard to follow.

Me too, I was like 25°??? Omg!!!!
I've been told to always smoke it breast down so the fats from the dark meat seep down into the white meat keeping it moist. Thoughts?
I personally love this recipe and don’t do that !
20 min is not enough time to rest. Rest for 2 hours. Watch Gordon Ramsey on what he says about turkey.
25 degrees?? What?
I don't have a treager that has temp. It only has smoke low and high. How do I do a 18lbs turkey with my trager and how many hrs? Thanks in advance
You’d need to figure out what temp is low / high and then adjust the recipe to the best fit
@sipbitego your food looks amazing I only hope my Christmas turkey even comes close lol
What brand of Turkey pellets are you using? The stores near me ran out of Trager turkey pellets.

You should of plugged it in on first part
The thermometer ?
How much did that turkey weigh?
I think 13-14 LB.
@@sipbitego Thanks! Going with your method right now with my 12 lb'er
The turkey smokes at 25 degrees for 2 hours???? 5:11
275 - see description or the printable recipe -- sipbitego.com/smoked-turkey-recipe

25 degrees what??
Directions are in the description. I think something cut off in the video.
5️⃣ Smoke whole turkey at 275 degrees F for 2 hours.
Then read the next step there’s more to it
So annoying
Same to you bro
How does the skin turn out? I was told that the skin turns out like rubber when you smoke it.
You’ll get it crispier if you broil in the oven, but really happy with smoking it. You can crank up the smoker to 400 to help at the end.
Smoke it at 25 degrees for 2 hours?

Enjoy the recipe 👍🏻
how'd it turn out?
@sipbitego my in laws said it's the best turkey they've had in their lives! Looking forward to doing it again next month
How long did yours take?
@@cedricjones1736 can't remember exactly. Maybe less than 5 hours. It was a small turkey, less than 10lbs
How many hours total on the Traeger?
Like 3-4 it’s pretty fast
That isn’t a rub…that’s a bryne that is suppose to be boiled down🤦♂️🤦♂️
Whaaat ??
Oh well, it all taste good after 6 beers.
Listen to the video. They did not use the brine only the rub part of the packet.
There is a brine packet and a rub packet, Bryan 🤦🏻🤦🏻
Looks yummy!! Amazing recipe!
Always a perfect bird
