Love the sound of the lake. How much more serene can it get???!

@Mary Abreu - that lake was genuinely one of the highlights of the last couple of years!

Am loving this EBC vid...simple..very informative & you did this trek at a time that most trekkers avoid. I am planning on starting my 22 day trek in mid Nov but may push it forward slightly in view of what you have presented. May I ask what yr exact trips dates were..???

@Domenic Clohessy - glad you like it. I believe I started the trek on 16th December, though be warned, straight after Christmas there was suddenly loads more people on the trail (makes sense because of holidays). Perhaps an early December start would work for you - I presume you are looking to do the High Passes?

@@WiththeSparrows Yes indeed. My plan is to trek via Phortse not the normal Tengboche route. Do Aba Dhablam base camp & continue to Chumkung Ri...proceed to EBC but the plan is when I reach Gorak shep is I will trek up Kala Phattar 1st so I can capture dusk on Everest. Base camp early the following morning. After that it's onto Gokyo via the Cholo pass. Spend a couple of days around the lakes before heading back to Namche. Of course I will do Gokyo Ri & & Renjlo pass. My initial start date was to leave Sydney on Nov 13th but will push that back 1 wk so I am returning home just before Xmas. It was yr vid & trek timing that has influenced this decision..Thank u..🙂
