Thanks for such a comprehensive and clear video! I’ve just ordered one of these and I don’t find it easy to learn from written instructions at all so this video has basically explained everything clearly so when it arrives on Tuesday I’ll have a pretty good idea already of how to use it. I’ll watch it again once it’s installed and go through the steps you’ve shown to familiarise myself with them before using it. I’m not too interested in the wifi aspect of it so not really bothered that you didn’t show that. One thing I’m confused about as you only just touched on it and didn’t explain any more was the drain tube. I chose this machine for the reason it’s a condenser drier and doesn’t need any plumbing in (although we have a vent in our utility room from a previous machine I much prefer the unvented ones) With the draining tube though, is this definitely optional and is it fine to use it without attaching the tube, as we don’t have anywhere to drain it into where it will be situated. If you do t attach the tube I guess it automatically just drains into the container? Hope you can answer this question with a very concise answer as I’ve said earlier I don’t understand written instructions or long answers. Thanks again.
The water drain hose is always an option to use. If you choose to use this, it will drain the water into a water outlet like your washing machine outlet. This can be an advantage for some people as it saves having to empty the water container. If you choose not to use this, then yes the water will collect in the water container and will need emptying. I hope you enjoy the dryer when it arrives, thanks very much for the feedback.
Thank you. A very helpful video as I was stuck in knowing what to do as we have today had a HLXV9TG-80 delivered. The booklet is not too helpful when we have been used to a simple on and off tumble dryer. Is it possible to take this video onto our own PC or phone?
Hi ive got a hoover DX c9TCENB freestanding condenser dryer. Everytime i try to put it on a red light comes on & i cant find out what it means any idea
Normally any warning lights are either to empty the container of water or to clean the filter. Also just check the door is shutting properly, as if the door catch is not operating properly then it may think that the door is not shut properly. Good luck.
We've just bought one. How noisy do you think it is in comparison to other dryers? Also is it ok to put in an enclosed cupboard and behind a door and kick board? Even with inlet and outlet on the side and front botton? Thanks
they are not really any noisier than any other dryer. personally i wouldn't recommend putting it in an enclosed cupboard, as dryers need ventilation. If you need to put a door on the front i would recommend an integrated dryer.
Hello. Really enjoying your channel. I have potentially narrowed my search down to two machines and I was wondering which you'd recommend. They are the LG F4V310SNE and the Hoover H wash 500 hwd610ambcb. Which would you advise please? (I need a mid range matching dryer too) and do you supply these. Thank you
If it is showing as having power to it the water tank is empty and filter is clean, then i would just contact the manufacturers assuming it is still under the warranty
yes all washing machines have transit bolts in the back to hold the drum steady during transit. They HAVE to be taken out before using the machine else it will damage it and will not be covered under the warranty
@@hotpointbrownlover3365 Thanks for your reply. We have a (brand intentionally withheld) dryer and the reverse works like a charm. It stops getting everything tangled and it dries really well too.
The door isn’t easy to open, you have to pull it quite hard and in doing so, the water tank/container falls out and cracks so easily. I’m now on my 3rd one for £27 each. And the dryer is so noisy.
Hi. I have a hoover tumble dryer , but different model. I need to know how can i dry baby's cloths without shrinking them? The label inside shows tumble dryer allowed, but what program should i use? I chose from my wizard app special for babys but still shrunk
I just got 10kg of this type today. Thanks alot, especially for letting me know how to lock it because I've got kids.
I just bought one and it's my first ever dryer. I didn't know where to start. Thank you very much for the detailed tutorial.
Thank you for sharing this video,it was extremely helpful and I'm also saving it for future references, thanks
Why don’t you show how to connect the hose pipe with the dryer?
Thanks for posting this, just got one today and you answered a couple of questions I was thinking about. 👍🏻
I have a similar model it came with some kind of sponge stuck to the back should I leave it on?
If it has arrived with it on, then leave the foam in place

Hello, are you able to help me ? My child lock has been put on by my child and now I can’t get it off to use the machine please can you help ?
Just to add, having read another comment which wasn’t answered…. Does this have bolts to remove, where are they and are they easy to remove?
Thanks
With these dryers there are no bolts to remove. It is mainly washing machines that have transit bolts, not tumble dryers.
Could you please help me? The machine do start at any program. Is there a reset button on? Or how van i reset my machine?
Very helpful video
Thanks

Do you need WiFi to use this,
No you don't have to have wifi to use the dryer

Difficult one to call, but the build quality on the LG will be a bit better than the Hoover

Do the Hoover dryers have the reverse action? There is no mention of reverse action on any of their dryers on their website.
they dont have the 2 way tumble on these
