Sad Bear. You will forever be my favourite musician of all time. Just know, while you're dancing in the stars.
Fireball is the song that I would play, when my wife was pregnant, that would make her belly start doing backflips. And even after our beautiful daughter was born, is the song we would play that would make her grab her ukulele and dance around the house.
Youre a gem and a beauty. And I hope to see you in the next life, my friend.

He looks so sad, like he was just done with life. If anyone didn’t know what direction his life was going after Sad Bear was released, they were just in denial. I knew it when I first listened to it, like it was this cry for help. That album hit so close to home with me because of its subject matter. I never knew Tony, but my later teen years were filled with NUFAN, and I think he was an awesome guy.

Totally, man. I met him in the early 2000's and he was so different, so full of life. Take one listen to Sad Bear, and you know. This was tough to watch, the interviewer had no clue.

@@Fiona-zv6uc If this really is Fiona Sly, I'd genuinely be humbled to offer you my condolences and tell you, for what it's worth, the undeniable impact your Dad left on me, the people around me & punk rock in general. So many of his songs hold a really special place in my heart (I guess you've heard enough stories tho). I truly hope time is making this even slightly less painful for you & your family. Lots of love from the UK xxx

@@Fiona-zv6ucHey Fiona, I made a playlist of every live video that your dad played in with NUFAN and acoustic shows. He is one of my favorite song writers and I truly mean that. Never got a chance to meet him or see him play live but I can tell that he was an awesome guy and we miss him dearly. Hope it helps that his legacy will be engraved in the punk rock community forever.

in the first minutes I felt a bit scared too, because he looks so tired and maybe drunk (honestly he talks like Tim Armstrong always does and he's alive), but then I was just like hey, this just proves again that the incredible Tony was a human too with highs and lows. and in this tired, low moment he could still smile! miss you Tony!

Tragic can't no word can express the bittersweet at one end he had burned the candle at both ends far too long but the love for his children and thinking of his family wow I can't fathom the pain. I don't know if he truly new since everyone said how his band was Vital for the development of a lot of my generation but when you get the same compliment repeatedly it loses it's affectiveness. How else can we express how much in words your art meant. RIP you legend you

i am really sad i got into NUFAN a few months after his passing.
what happened, i was watching One Nine Nine Four, and when i was looking for more 90s Skate/Pop Punk bands, i decided to give them a shot. it was great stuff. i'm hoping to purchase Making Friends sometime, since that became my first favorite.
the one comforting thing is that he went as peacefully as many of us would want to go.

Damn, I did not know until now!! I like NUFAN and I saw them in concert 2 times. Twice in Holland, because I'm from Holland. I even talked to Tony after the show and I remember a very cool and very nice guy! I don't listen to punkrock music that often anymore, but today I was checking if there's maybe a new NUFAN record coming out, but now I know, Tony passed away. I feel terrible! R.I.P. It’s because so many people loved him. People who didn’t even know him loved him, cared for him and had their lives touched by his words and music. This is why people were concerned about him, no one wanted this man to die. If you truly are his daughter, then I’m sorry for your loss and whatever rude things may have been said about him. He was a huge inspiration to me and a lot of other people.

It is to this Day that I kinda punch myself that I did not tell him in 2010 that he should immediately go home, get a cure and get healthy cause I have never seen someone so beat. So caring about People's Appearance maybe make them either live or die in the long run and you can be happy about that People care.

The thing that annoys me about this is (at times) the interviewer doesn't give Tony enough time to finish what he is saying. Tony is speaking really slowly because he has just played an amazing show and has been wasted yet a couple of times you see Tony is going to say something else but the interviewer pushes through with the next question. Not that the interviewer knew what would happen, and how relevant the interview would be. Tony was/is a great artist, I never knew him but I miss him more than I should. RIP big man!

He looks tired I agree though I would've preferred him to have even these few minutes to test which obviously is severely needed but there are no coincidence this had to be documented I'm so glad it was.
