  • In this interview, we sit down with Simon Ticehurst from the Wellbeing Economy Alliance.
    Simon Ticehurst is the Advocacy and Movements Lead with the Wellbeing Economy Alliance (WEAll). The Wellbeing Economy Alliance (WEAll) is a collaboration of organisations, alliances, movements and individuals working towards a Wellbeing Economy, delivering human and ecological wellbeing. Before joining WEAll, Simon was Oxfam International’s Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean (2015-2022). Simon is based in Mexico, and has worked in El Salvador, Nicaragua, Mexico, Bolivia, Brazil and Colombia.
    Following on from a seminar Simon delivered to Climate Outreach, we interview Simon about the debate on degrowth as a climate solution. This conversation touches on the links between degrowth, climate change, and public engagement, drawing on Simon’s experience in this space.
