Epipremnum aureum leaves have brown spots, what could be the causes? Also could used tea and eggshells be used as fertilizer?

Most probably its fungal attack. Next time when u water put fungicide in it
Tea leaves you can give to plants which like acidic soil like roses,Hibiscus etc
Eggshells is for calcium u can add in small quantities in fertilizer
