Bouldergeist is probably my favorite smg1 boss, i think its because they took a very original/strange concept and managed to make an intimidating boss out of it regardless. young me didn't know about this boss on my first playthrough, i only found out because of the internet (probably a wiki or an "all boss fights no damage" video) but i REALLY felt the adrenaline when i fought it myself. where i have good memories fighting Bouldergeist, i was TERRIFIED of Kingfin, ive had thalassophobia for a while and its the reason i never made it far in Subnautica, the bone shark is way more intimidating than bouldergeist too.
When I was a kid this song and the Red Comet theme used to scare me so much that I put the game on mute whenever they played and now they're some of my favorite SGM songs ever.
I already knew you were going to blow this one out of the water, but I didn't expect it to rock so hard. It's almost haunting how cool this turned out, especially when the original was already such an explosion of quality. Comparing the original to this is like comparing a drip of water to a tsunami. All awful jokes aside, this is really good. I like the new sections you added a LOT, and considering this is your fourth arrangement in like a week, I am starting to worry about your work ethic; it's too impressive 😵💫 At this point, it goes without saying that the Risty remix is better than the original, but I think you're really outdoing yourself lately. Watching the progression of your style in real time is awesome, and I'm so so glad I found this channel as early as I did. -also the jaws reference at the very end for kingfin was really epic- -i doubt it but if that was something you did even partially because of my comment (or even if it wasn't tbh) it made me very happy thanks-
To be truthful, your comment actually helped me finishing the track! I was struggling with implementing a fitting outro for the track, then I saw your comment about Kingfin on my post, and it gave me the bright idea of shoehorning in the Jaws reference to end it, and I felt it worked really well - so thanks for that, I guess! hahahaha :)

Dude... it sounds like a chase scene music... It was already my favorite track in the game, it is spooky and stuff... But you made it like, REALLY tense... I am would be honestly interested to hear an arangement of Toby Fox's "The Nightmare Knight" made with your hands then! Since you seem to like adding a bit of spice to all your horror-adjacent tracks, and, well, "The Nightmare Knight's" end... Uh... _Kind of scares me_ . So yeah I hope you will make that one in the future too!
