2:04 Actually, as long as you prioritize the a2 and she doesn't take the stun, she will always attack under increase crit rate. It is the same when placing shields. When you place a shield buff on yourself for 2 turns, there are still 2 turns left on the buff after the turn.
@@drewprew Fair point - I did not know people did that - I use a double Demytha unkillable with extender on to keep Valkyrie's retaliate up continuously. The speed tune has to be right to avoid the heals from blocking the block damage debuff though

Also she puts up block damage b4 the con heal when using her A3 so just make sure you have every buff up you want and that the BD goes on as the tenth buff so she cant place con heal since that way you can still take advantage of her BD, I run her as lead in my infinity team and using the above I'm able to have BD on everyone every second CB hit.

Prediction: Juliana team 67m, Frozen Banshee maybe around 80m. I was far off, but I'm glad. The more good damage dealers, the better. I wonder what Orn would have been doing pre-nerf since his poison chance to land was so much higher than now.
Outstanding vid, cleaned up my original comment to ask a very important question: I went to the Jedi's page and noticed that on the original comp (3:1 Ninja Friendly), there's a note at the top of the description saying: "Deacon's aura is considered in the speeds". However, I noticed you went with different speeds. Gonna watch the video, and that part again. So the question, of course, would be: Was Sapph's mod to the Jedi's comp which changed those numbers? Obviously, by considering Deac's aura, the speed reqs regarding gear would be way easier to get to. Thanks a ton for the vid, would immensely appreciate any help, super excited to try this one out. I was looking at your mastery recommendations on your website for juliana, and had a question, ayumilove went offense and support (i presume for the extra acc) whereas you go offense and defense. Is that because you have good enough gear that you dont need to spec into the acc? I know almost all of her damage comes from her a3 landing the hp burn.

You turned off her A3, but her A3 is key in what makes her useful against clanboss. Removing the bosses increase attack and adding an HP burn. FB might have the poison sensitivity to give her the slight edge, but Juliana has more utility overall IMO

Only 236 accuracy on orn, so probably got a few resists. Probably would be similar to Banshee in a 3:1 if he didn't use the pop skill, since that only helps if you can keep the bar filled.
i think u can see for frozen banshee she uses sensetivity even after he is there. and in this comp they are 3 to 1 so i think this cost her damage. also for frozen banshee u can use some retaliation accesory or set and it will not screw her speed tune.
Hoooly can I bring Juliana out of the vault?? I fused Sir Nicholas and pulled Juliana & Skullcrown when Raid first came out and those 3 were part of almost every team I had going out for the first 8 months
Only problem with Orn and FB on one team is that if you get Dec Att and Dec Def up, you cap out your debuff bar. This can lead to FB missing putting out poison sensitivity, and then you do LESS damage. So as long as you keep the bar filled you don't need two poisoners (and three is completely useless)
Really like seeing the Demytha-Deacon-Heiress-Seeker teams and how one champ changes all the speeds, Prolly why I cannot get another champ to replace Ninja on my f2p as damage! He was so finicky to tune to begin with. Forget which DWJ video I stole the idea from ;) Again great job and stay safe.
I am running the same team with Ninja. He was so hard to tune! Once I could 1 key, I stopped messing with it! Heiress did need toxic set to get to one key (for me).
It throws off speed due to her A1 giving extra turn meter. So the A1 needs to come at specific time or the tune is off. Certain champions can use it but most can't (like cleanser needs to cleanse exactly at right time or your team will fail). So you must consider the champion. It's easier to just never use it than to make mistakes if you are uncertain.
Maybe a good function for the artifact optimiser "Speedtune Mode" No Refresh, Mastery Alarms, and stuff :) The comparison is quite nice, i wished u could also do a dark kael test. I wanna know how he performs against orn.
Hades - I've kept using my Julianna for years, and I ran a dragon on eat 1x just to make sure I'm not crazy and misremembering, but your 100% wrong about the Crit Rate buff on her A2. It places and attacks - but does not tick down the turn it was applied. So after the next 2 attacks - which are covered, she uses that again (you may need to priority it to be safe if using the A3) - so at any given time she only needs 70% C.Rate in her build, less if you have a C.Rate lead - so you can actually more easily ramp her damage up though C.Dmg. If you could work a team where her A3 can be used - that along with teh added DMG would likely put her even further over FB in a similar comp - though they should still take the A3 down to a 3 turn.
Another clan boss team with the usual champions that I cannot seem to obtain.... do you have any clan boss teams that do not need Demytha, Seeker, or Maneater? Because some of us do not seem to be that lucky.
She is, Julliana was the first epic ever pulled, now have her 6 star with 5 star awakening and with a F2P account doing 1 key on Nigmtare and 3 key on UMN (very close to 2) without a unkillable team
Great video, just a quick suggestion. When you mention Cycle of Magic, Refresh gear and Reflex set for Orn, you might want to say again that folks should be careful about their speed tune. Demytha won't protect him for long. I'd also be curious (maybe a short?) if there is a difference if Juliana puts out the HP Burn. It could increase or decrease, so I am curious.
Demytha is running at 3:1 turn ratio and is always the last one in the tune before clan boss. Any DPS that does not have a skill that affects turn meter or speed, should be fine in reflex gear and cycle of magic.
hat's your stats on dark kael for cb? I have 100cchance and 232 cdamage 300 acc dark kael on a valkyrie team and I can only get 12M from him in 50 rounds
Do you think that Plarium will ever be able to create a rival to the meta of speed tuning itself? Djamarsa and Crohnam seem like the start of a push towards some alternative meta of every team member just doing their biggest skills as often as possible regardless of turn order. Do you think that will ever be accepted by the playerbase as an alternative to the whole idea of speed tuning?
Hmmm...video shows you can one key with a rare (so so so much easier to build, and fulfills an advanced mission several times a week). I'd likely keep Juliana in the vault. Note: I have Heiress and Tuhanarak, and Heiress is easier to speed tune, Full Auto from turn one. She also satisfies the One Rare on Clan Boss Advanced Mission, farmable for "books" so I love my team. Heiress in a Toxic set (not easy to get the speeds, you need great gear) fills the bar as well.
Guys i need help. Im two keying brutal with High Khatun for boosts, Rector for heals, Siegehulk as dps, Elhain for burns and poison, and kael as secondary poisoner. Should i keep using Kael, or should i use Aothar or Juliana?
@Knut Kristensen Seeker is in a block damage comp so he can basically go wild. If he's not in toxic and he doesn't need uber speed, then ignore damage sets are the way to go.

I wish she was a different affinity. Back when I was struggling to one-key force clan boss with Draco, it would have been great to have a spirit or force option to swap him out for. But so many poison champs are all magic affinity

Yes, but imho the biggest part of her buff didn't even come to play here. A full buff strip, even on single target, is quite nice to have. Probably not for people who can build those comps but it looks to me like she's solid now.
Doesnt need to remind that Juliana had more than 2700+ dmg and about 10% c.dmg advantage in build... Kinda far from fair comparison. If its 2:1 or 3:1 I dont mind as far as he is comparing the same numbers.
I dont understand why you disabled Julianas Hp burn. IMO it was bot a fair test as she had an arm cut off. Yes, what you did is a poisoner vs poisoner but the result is not a complete set of data.
Would Dark Kael sub in here and do more than either of these? Working on getting him in DT. Also, every time I see that +4 Cupidus, I cry a little inside.
I thought for NM and UNM champs defense needs to be 3000+ and 3500+? A lot of these champs being used are way below those numbers. Am I missing something?
I enjoyed this video, and I like seeing old champs get buffed. It might be true that Julianna is better than Frozen Banshee, but for me Nothing beats the Brawler.
I don't really follow the point of this comparison. Juliana will only be able to fill the debuff bar in a 3:1 ratio team, and 3:1 ratio teams are better with pure damage than poisons anyway. Meanwhile Frozen Banshee can fill debuff bar in 2:1, ally attack, counter attack. In any other scenario you'd want Juliana to use her a3 and add in the burns otherwise her dps would be subpar.
Juliana is not a viable clan boss option because the TM on her A1 needs critical hits. So, against force affinity, she will get weak hits and throw the tune off. Also, because of that TM on her A1, you cannot just replace her with another DPS on force affinity. That will also throw the speed tune off

sry HH but you did one mistake, FB's A3 need to be on auto and thx to the master hexer mastery the Poison S. is up longer so she can priorise her A1 much more time coz has programed AI for Poison S. If u pairing with Aox to keep up the Poison S. even longer she uses her A3 only when the boss dont have the debuff and she has a turn...
Hmm, thank you for opening my eyes to realising that Rapid Response, Cycle of Magic and Arcane Celerity are messing up my turn orders in my CA CB team! Also FB is best in CA teams as far as I'm aware.
The Frozen Banshee run was a bit nerfed by prioritizing the A3. Her AI is perfect for bosses, she will not A1 if the Poison Sensitivity falls off. So you were doing, A3, A1, A1, A3 ET AL. However, if you leave her to her AI, she will A3, then A1 X times until PS drops then she will A3 the next turn then resume A1 spam.
Raw damage beats poison damage. Raw damage can be modified, poison cannot, you can only have a certain number of debuffs so poison caps. I think running a weaker champion in toxic, say heiress. And run non-poison damage dealers.
HH, you had almost double the attack stats for Juliana compared to Frozen Banshee. That 5 Mil difference was right there. FB was just fine, probably better.

the a1 nerf on Orn was ridiculous (25%!?). Banshee has 100% of 2 on a1, other uncommons and rares keep poison up far better than he does. very disappointing. curious how Kael would do in that comp for a "baseline" poisoner, would expect he is just behind frozen banshee.
Man u are comparing 5,9k dmg + 245 c.dmg vs 3,2k + 237 c.dmg.Its like 2,0 TSI vs 1,4 TSI. Make FB with 5k and same c.dmg and she will make more than Juliana even with worse stats. Juliana After buff seems usable in CB but still not enought against FB or OB...

Have a look at Whisper in CB not sure if she works in this comp but Madcapper posted a video using her.

The big issue with Orn is that after the nerf, he is only landing poisons at a 75% rate. He is just too inconsistent to rely on for one key damage.

Frozen Banshees damages raises significantly in counter attack or ally attac setups. Would love to see if she would outnumber juliana in this case.

Not everyone can reach a 3:1 team. on a 2:1 team, the debut bar will not fill as much and Frozen Banshee may still be better in most cases
Yes, but imho the biggest part of her buff didn't even come to play here. A full buff strip, even on single target, is quite nice to have. Probably not for people who can build those comps but it looks to me like she's solid now.
Doesnt need to remind that Juliana had more than 2700+ dmg and about 10% c.dmg advantage in build... Kinda far from fair comparison. If its 2:1 or 3:1 I dont mind as far as he is comparing the same numbers.

IMO it was bot a fair test as she had an arm cut off. Yes, what you did is a poisoner vs poisoner but the result is not a complete set of data.
Still use Frozen Banshee almost 2 years in somewhere.. just not had anyone that would take over..
Orn's A2 only activates 5% poison debuffs, so having a toxic set champ wouldn't help him at all, it would just fill the debuff bar

Also, every time I see that +4 Cupidus, I cry a little inside.
The Orn nerf, killed him for being good for CB champion, a rare champion Fozen Banshe is mutch better.
Maybe Orn+second poisener could be good...
I thought for NM and UNM champs defense needs to be 3000+ and 3500+? A lot of these champs being used are way below those numbers. Am I missing something?

I enjoyed this video, and I like seeing old champs get buffed. It might be true that Julianna is better than Frozen Banshee, but for me Nothing beats the Brawler.

Poison pop isn’t good for clan boss since the pop only does one tick of damage, but consumes the whole duration of the poison.
I don't really follow the point of this comparison. Juliana will only be able to fill the debuff bar in a 3:1 ratio team, and 3:1 ratio teams are better with pure damage than poisons anyway. Meanwhile Frozen Banshee can fill debuff bar in 2:1, ally attack, counter attack. In any other scenario you'd want Juliana to use her a3 and add in the burns otherwise her dps would be subpar.
I want the same team. But not sure that I can pool 290+ speed for demitha.
Juliana is not a viable clan boss option because the TM on her A1 needs critical hits. So, against force affinity, she will get weak hits and throw the tune off. Also, because of that TM on her A1, you cannot just replace her with another DPS on force affinity. That will also throw the speed tune off

Well he was using Juliana without the burn too so that could’ve been a little bit of extra dmg coming in overall
The problem with Juliana is she is an epic and wont replace my frozen banshee when I get the advanced quest to use a rare on clan boss.
sry HH but you did one mistake, FB's A3 need to be on auto and thx to the master hexer mastery the Poison S. is up longer so she can priorise her A1 much more time coz has programed AI for Poison S. If u pairing with Aox to keep up the Poison S. even longer she uses her A3 only when the boss dont have the debuff and she has a turn...
Try dark kael in this set up + seeker in toxic set cause kael blows up poisons ;p
Hmm, thank you for opening my eyes to realising that Rapid Response, Cycle of Magic and Arcane Celerity are messing up my turn orders in my CA CB team! Also FB is best in CA teams as far as I'm aware.

Hades is right, one little thing makes unkillable fail- for me it’s not having a champion who has the buff
The Frozen Banshee run was a bit nerfed by prioritizing the A3. Her AI is perfect for bosses, she will not A1 if the Poison Sensitivity falls off. So you were doing, A3, A1, A1, A3 ET AL. However, if you leave her to her AI, she will A3, then A1 X times until PS drops then she will A3 the next turn then resume A1 spam.
I'd be very interested to Julianna vs FB in a non 3:1 team, maybe a 4:3.
Raw damage beats poison damage. Raw damage can be modified, poison cannot, you can only have a certain number of debuffs so poison caps. I think running a weaker champion in toxic, say heiress. And run non-poison damage dealers.
Why is she compared to Frozen Banshee? Their is no similiarity on them beides the Poison on A 2 , Juliana is quiet a Bit different in the Rest no?
Why not include the Ogryn when it comes to the poison? He keeps being called out as the best poison CB champ in videos :)
HH, you had almost double the attack stats for Juliana compared to Frozen Banshee. That 5 Mil difference was right there. FB was just fine, probably better.
Not exactly. Even with the same stats fb does a lot less damage because her multis arent as good. Most of her damage comes from the poisons.
@@mosuke5123 We are talking about double the attack stats difference. Even if she gets close to 40 mil or under, she is better than Julianna because she is a rare.
the a1 nerf on Orn was ridiculous (25%!?). Banshee has 100% of 2 on a1, other uncommons and rares keep poison up far better than he does. very disappointing. curious how Kael would do in that comp for a "baseline" poisoner, would expect he is just behind frozen banshee.

All things “equal”, stick with FB. One keyed UNM with 2,700 less Atk. Keep your better gear for other areas.
Man u are comparing 5,9k dmg + 245 c.dmg vs 3,2k + 237 c.dmg.Its like 2,0 TSI vs 1,4 TSI. Make FB with 5k and same c.dmg and she will make more than Juliana even with worse stats. Juliana After buff seems usable in CB but still not enought against FB or OB...

@@pureityXXX Im not sure. If u comparing champs u want same stats to see what difference skill made.Not almost 2x more dmg which gave you only 5m (15%?!) extra dmg. I have easy unkill team where FB is 4,2k + 224 c.dmg with funny 177 SPD (not even 2:1) and she can make 20m+ dmg (depends on affinity) What do you think she could make with same stats in 3:1 or even Juliana stats? This Comparison is bit joke for me. 3:1 is more like end game build. If you are end game u doesnt need FB or Juliana in you CB team. I accept your opinion tho. We both took a different point of view :-)
Try Rowan in that team pumping out 4 poisons a hit
