Works well for me - exclusively fish from the bank. Just keep in mind you’ll want to move around quite a bit (along the bank) to raise your chances. Caught bass on anything up to 3/8 oz jig head down to fishing ultralight using trout lures (1/16-1/8 oz).
Absolutely! There’s alot of dead water out there but in areas you know they live and of course the times of year when they’re really feeding in bait. We’ve got a lot of small bodies of water locally, and I’ll lap them throwing nothing but a jig head minnow at times.

We all know in MOST cases FFS will and has tournaments. The big tours will eventually be full of elite scopers! It’ll be The SOS watching live! Thank God for RUclips! Could a jig head minnow be used effectively without forward facing sonar. I fish out of a canoe or off the bank primarily.
