Every Friday, the weekly market transforms this ancient Tea Horse town, revealing a vibrant and lively side that contrasts with its usual serene charm. Join on our adventure, let's explore the Shaxi ancient town, our last stop in Dali.

Wonderful how that grandma went through all the trouble to make that bamboo backpack fit.
Those grandma's are the last generation of a China that will soon disappear - which is a bit sad to contemplate.
But theirs was a very tough life and their children and grandchildren hopefully can life with a little more comfort.
