My son´s dad came from Iran, He passed last year :( I love Iranian people and farsi :) I have a 16 months old granddaughter and she is so funny. Reminds me of my son´s mama bozorg
Sabina_ Oh I'm so sorry to hear that, I hope he rests in peace. But that's such a sweet story about your son's Irani father. It's so nice that you like Farsi language and culture. This made me so happy as a half Persian. Have a lovely day. :)
سلام امیر جان.باعث افتخارمه که میبینم یوتیوبرهای ایرانی هم هستند .لطفاً به کارت ادامه بده و به همهی دنیا نشون بده که ایرانیها تروریست نیستند. Dear Amir,I’m proud to see that there are Iranian youtubers too. Keep up with your great job and show the whole world that Iranians are no terrorists❤️❤️
omg. I'm half Persian living in england and when I was a child my dad taught me to tap watermelons to test them. It was like some kind of lost art that none of the english people knew and was taken very seriously. lmao. And him and my grandad would be the official watermelon pickers when we went shopping. I used to think he was some kind of watermelon whisperer. I was dying watching this! If my grandad picked the watermelon we would have to praise him for his amazing skills. pmsl.
Rose Kasili_ Lol your grandpa is definitely a watermelon engineer than.😂 He should be praised, this is a cute story btw. 😍😍 Btw I'm half Persian too. Sending love :) ❣️
Thank you Amir, you brought me back to my childhood memories of being First generation Iranian growing up shopping with my parents in Los Angeles. People around me think I'm mentally ill for LOL'n by myself. 😁😁😁😂😂😂😂
Ok. Where do you live then if it´s so expensive? I live in Finland, I´m Finnish :) Here all ingredients costs about 15 euro. I can eat it a hole week because no-one else like it :)
I'm from New Zealand but my dad is Iranian while my mom is Japanese. I have also been raised in Iran from the age of 5 to 17. Woah, that's so good!In here the lamb alone costs 15 bucks...
My mom is Persian and I relate to that alot😂 Specially those leftover foods. I showed this video to her and she was going to hit me with her slippers😩 she said “I haven’t treated you like that you ungrateful kid”😂
Hi Amir, love your work...I can’t stop laughing. Could you please add a sketch to your part 2, where the Persian mum goes around saying that no food she tastes here is the same as Iran-it’s just never the same as it was in Iran! “In chi-e dige, Aslan maze nadare!”😂😂
I’m from Iran TEHRAN! I’m also part Turkish and possibly Saudi Arabian or Lebanese. I speak Farsi, Arabic, and Turkish. I have dark bronzish brownish skin, so people think I’m Spanish or Italian then when I tell them I’m middle eastern they are like... OH MY GOD IM SO STUPID I SEE IT NOW! Anyway the watermelon thing is so true!
Hey, Amir. I remember my late father doing this with watermelons (but not the dancing part, ha, ha) when I was a kid. I haven't seen anyone doing this in Greece for a long time now, it was obviously a habit from the past. Many things die out with the passage of time, even from memory. But your videos are great fun. I wish you every success! Σου εύχομαι κάθε επιτυχία!
Haha this video is so funny! The trick with watermelon works though. I was brought up in central Asia (Kazakhstan) and we do exactly the same thing lol You do the accent so well - that's exactly how one of my Persian friends speaks )))
Omfg I absolutely adore ur scenes with the lit bandari songs and the editing that comes with it every video i am always like i hope he put that in this video ahahaha 😂
The hitting watermelons thing actually works I can’t explain it but if it sound hollow like if it almost has an echo it’s more ripe and therefore more sweet.
My sister who is doctor ,came to canada for the first time al osr 30 years ago,we went shopping, and my sister did bargaining, I was almost fainted, when she persisted, then later on we went to Montreal, and she did bargaining, finally she got almost 5 T shrit, in price of 3, then she came from store, telling me you see in Canada you can do bargains, guess what the owner was Arab. Still we laugh every time we remember it. Good work Amir Jaana.
This one actually has a historical reason in this region. back in those days were governments and economy rules weren't actually specific but most of the people in iran would do trading for livings (based on it's regional location). Usually the price tag would always were made up at the marketplace, depending on for how much money businessmen could sell their goods or how much money customers would pay for them, based on a two-way agreement, and this is still happening nowdays in bazaar (traditional persian marketplace). Chooneh zadan is actually an art of negotiation and marketing 😂😂😂
What a great timing...just went grocery shopping with mom...and guess what??? Exact same way..I wish i watched the video before shopping...also i believe all asian moms r can relate to each other😜😣😅
