This humble guy grew up in Bulawayo learnt at Mhali primary and Magwegwe High school.....we used to watch him play esgela wayetshibilika umemba....more so Benjani was good in every sport at school, in athletics and in Rugdy he excelled.....he was and is always a simple guy and even remembers faces of the people he grew up with in the streets...he infact will be the first to greet you in the public if he knows you...........very cool guy
yes very true. I was in the same class with him. He came to mhali in grade 2 in the afternoon and he had no shoes. He was good at every sport. However from Mhali he was mainly the goal keeper and he was good at it. Sport is definitely in his genes.
