  • I don't know if it's accurate or not, so please don't use my video as a definition of either of these.
If I got something wrong, please tell me, and I'll correct it!
Also, I have an idea for a fanfic that I WAS going to include but didn't have the storage ;-;the
-Mina gives Bakugou a wool sweater for Christmas and he doesn't like the material, but nobody knew this except Midorya.-

On a really bad sensory day it's so horrible when you can hear and feel everything, especially when you're them forced to communicate and people just assume you're being rude or 'sensitive' as my mum would put it

As someone with ADHD and Autism, a lot of it is very accurate. Especially the textures/sensory things, and forgetting the one thing you need lol (for me at least) + the routine thing was accurate with my friend that is also autistic (I don't overly care for routine, generally speaking). So I think you did a good job! :D

As another person with ADHD and autism I can relate to this video well. Something I Want to say is that sensory thing doesn’t always trigger discussed just another noise that bothers me is the sound of Chex mix being crunched. And when my routine is impacted it definitely does trigger me a little. And I don’t mean this is it I’m just getting my personal thoughts you did a good job encompassing with a person like that is.

I can relate hard for one I hate that my sister moves an Alexa device that is a touch screen because I can tell what time of day it is and it’s not helpful when she moves it so I leave it somewhere she won’t have to tamper with it ever again but it’s only helped a little also when I see something out of place or left out in the open that shouldn’t be in the open I place the things back to where they have to go I get annoyed having to go around and fix what’s wrong everywhere in the house but I do it anyway and something that triggers sensory overload to me is something’s related to being loud or explosive or a combination of the two of them I also hyperfix times I see my sister carelessly drop her phone or leave it turned on so I caringly go place it on the vanity to charge and turn it off but before that I take it out of her hands but she gets mad when I do this but still I am doing her a favor she should be happy I am the type of non atypical person to fix whatever is out of place but sometimes I feel like my hyperfix ability really isn’t all that great of an addiction because it could probably drive someone nuts over it

as an aspergic person, i could somewhat relate to this, but not fully. i do like my schedules, but noises don’t bother me. textures and smells are more annoying. and when something doesn’t go my way, i have meltdowns. usually its something small like kicking things in my room, or something bad as breaking my headphones. and i am very forgetful. usually i buy things i don’t need rather than the thing i came for. and i do relate to some of the ADHD symptoms, but i haven’t been formally diagnosed with it. however, autism symptoms are related to ADHD symptoms. to deduce this run i will give this a 10/10

Yeah it does suck I didn’t ask to be this kind of human being but to be honest maybe the word normal is misleading and there’s no such thing as a normal because everyone is different and unique in their own special ways what I hate more though is how I’m an autistic person who’s on antidepressants because to be honest I never felt I needed them to begin with but because I was honestly acting up and had been getting frustrated or upset easily I got put on them now I’m not 10 milligrams of a type of antidepressant which sucks because I’m not even depressed but what’s impressive of me who’s autistic is not only did I hit my English speaking milestone but I have even progressed with Spanish speaking as well although I could still use help for Spanish I know in my heart I’ll be able to have an entire conversation with my grandparents without kinda shying away from them or not saying much even though I have things I would like to say I just stay mute since I don’t really speak in Spanish perfectly but I know I’ll get there on day I just have to study and repeatedly practice it since I do well with things if I’m doing it repetitively which I always do things repetitively because it’s in my blood and dna to repeatedly do the same things over and over again.

Also, I’m guessing you were trying to proyect hyperfixiation by Bakugo fixing his bed, but from experience I would’ve most defineatly gotten distracted noticing more and more things I could fix on the bed and like, an hour would pass, time blindness is real.

And before anyone calls me out and tries to say im faking or self diagnosing, i got blood tests done to confirm. I take medication (Concerta, 28mg.) Every morning. It kinda sucks that i have to make sure to prove my mental disorder, because of how many assholes like to fake it. But its fine.

This whole video was relatable and this AU bakugo I relate to so much because it's already at the fact that I have anger issues but I also have adhd and possibly autism i'm still trying to get that tested but either way I relate to this video so well because I will literally forget about everything like I'll have to take care of something and I'm told to do something else and I'll finish up what I was doing forget about the other thing and as I'm doing the thing I was doing I would end up needing something else so I'll go to the store to get everything but the thing I need I'll head home without the thing I needed and then I'll have to go back to the store to get the thing this time then I'll get home forget why I needed the thing put it down and then I'll remember last minute about why I needed it and then I go search for the thing that I ended up losing about an hour later I would find it and get that thing done and then I'll remember at like 3:00 a.m. the other thing I needed to get done and then I'd hyper fixate on getting that thing done but then I'd end up cleaning a lot more than just that one thing because hyper fixation but the thing that broke me out of the hyper fixation was when I was doing laundry and I touched a towel with a disgusting texture that shouldn't exist and by all accounts that towel was clean so I spent literal minutes trying to find a way not to touch the towel but to finish the laundry so it just be done and over with, which by all accounts about 2 days ago I had my glasses I set them down somewhere and lost them and I still don't have them even though I searched literally the entire house besides the basement and attic which was strange cuz I remember that the place I placed them in was the place I usually put them in so that way to keep the routine of getting ready in the morning grabbing my glasses and then my headphones and then everything else that I need and then leaving to the bus and then going through my school day now you see I like half days cuz you get to go home early but I also hate them cuz I never remember that we have half days so then my entire routine gets thrown off even though I already hate the schedule to the school day😢

    @alfredosalazar7033 2 года назад

So I have adhd and am high functioning autistic. I won't say my age for safety reasons, but when I was younger I always had a routine. Like when I go to bed I have to use my tablet (my only electronic device back then) and read some of a book before going to bed. If it didn't happen I would have trouble sleeping. Then, and now, I have been very picky. Never ate vegetables and only ate like one type of fruit all the time. I am also allergic to peanut butter and peanut products. I don't know the taste, but I do know the smell. Though for some reason the first time I tried Nutella it smelled like peanut butter, or at least my brain registered it that way. I think it was bc when I was little I had that and my throat closed up. That said about maybe 2 or 3 years ago, more most likely, I did take quite a bit of peanut butter and jelly sandwich before noticing. And the only thing I felt was the peanut butter going down. I still don't eat the stuff just in case.
Memory. Yes this happens quite a bit. Usually now I seem to forget people's names if I don't see them every day or often. I can remember how they looked but only if it is by clothing. So like at school I would remember people bc of a combination of hair color and style, clothing, personality, and just the way they do stuff.
Though for me I like to keep to myself sometimes, but I do like saying hi to people. I do this bc I heard somewhere that even just saying hi to someone can help them a lot.
I did have meltdowns a lot for different reasons, but I learned to control it.
Also I know sometimes people with autism or adhd sometimes don't know how to filter what they say. And yes I was like that before. But now I filter myself a lot. Sometimes I won't even say certain things to people. Or I word it differently.
I am also very sensitive to loud noises, but overtime got used to it. Now I can even filter certain things out to focus on one thing.
I don't really know how to start conversations well still. Sometimes I do, but most of the time I listen and then interrupt to add something.
I am very smart though. When I was younger I knew a lot about dinosaurs, though now it is more so with fighting and weapons. Still the same amount of knowledge lvl so like how much of dinosaurs I knew before, I now know with weapons and fighting.
Helping is another thing. I always liked to help people. Though when I tried to help so they wouldn't get in trouble, I got bullied for it. Though I guess I was telling them to stop. I did end up helping my robotics team with a piece the needed. I would always play with a connector and a bar (small stuff) like if it was like a tire iron (not the 'T' looking one, but the upside down 'L') or something like that. They would always get mad at me for doing that but I still did. One day they needed a claw for the robot, and I made it.
So I think that is just about all of me.

      Thank you for sharing! :D
I really like reading long comments/paragraphs like this! Especially when people are comfortable with sharing a part of their life with me. It makes me feel good that people can have a safe space and rant! (Even though that probably wasn't the point, you still shared a piece of your daily(?) life with me and I'm glad :] )
