Thanks Evan for another fantastic recommendation🤘🤘 Goliath will be out tomorrow :D Really digging this band loads! Can't wait to listen to the full albums one day 😄🤘 Hope you guys enjoyed the reaction 😱 Much Love, Peace & Happiness 💜✌😊 Shane Alan Gower
Interesting fact: Steve Judd didn’t take part in Themata, he joined the band a bit later, and most of the instrumentals on Themata including drums were conceived and performed by Drew Goddard, their founding guitarist. Given this fact I respect them even more, they are all such talented and extraordinary musicians
Aw wow that's an awesome fact thanks for letting me know 😱 Everything I have heard from them has been pretty top notch. They are fantastic musicians and the music is also mixed so well. Pity I didn't know about them awhile ago probably would of watched them when they came to South Africa.
Karnivool are amazing! ❤ Their Sound Awake album is a musical master piece!! @shaneAlanGower you should definitely react to Change- live at the Heath Ledger Theatre in Perth, has live didgeridoo in it
I'm glad you enjoyed it 🤘 These guys are so awesome! Goliath is dropping tomorrow :D Reacted to it earlier and it was slapping hard 😱 Thanks for dropping by and leaving a comment really appreciate it 😊🤘
Themata is great don't get me wrong but Sound Awake is highly regarded as their best album to date. The whole album is a masterpiece. Especially Deadman and Change
Yeah Sounds Awake as a whole is a fantastic album, but I think the better songs are on Themata. Sound Awake is a little bit overhyped and for me it didn't translate as well live as Themata songs did.
I have done two reactions to them. Definitely need to do more. The one reaction I did my mic messed up so wasn't to happy with that. From what I've heard they are great musicians 😊👍
Saw them live in Feb and they played this. The crowd just became a seething mass of jumping bodies! Been a massive fan of Karnivool for years, but I'm struggling with the lack of new material (not withstanding the chaos created by the last few years). They apparently have hard drives full of songs, just nothing formed into an album. Hope it happens soon. They're too good to step away from the music scene.
I saw a Steve Judd interview a cpl of months ago where he said they had around 6 completed new tracks but were struggling with the rest so it may take more than a minute for another album.
Great reaction! Looking forward to the next one. Then do yourself a favour and listen to the 3 albums in their entirety. They did a cover of a song by Gotye called The Only Way which is also really really good.
Shane glad you were digging it. After you listen to Goliath watch Rick Beatos breakdown of the song. I think as a musician you'll really appreciate the producers insight into a beast of a track and its unique time signatures. Have a fantastic week my friend.
I saw some people in the comments mention Rick Beato, will love to check that out cause that song was so epic. Loved the way it was mixed & that bass 😱 Should be out tomorrow. 🤘 Hope you had a rocking day.

Hey man. Thanks for the reaction. COTE is my all time favourite. These drums were written and recorded by the guitarist before Steve was in the band.

Time for a few Caligulas Horse reactions I reckon Shane!

Karnivool have a new EP called 'All It Takes', HEAVY. I reckon ppl don't recommend it cause they're in love with the old stuff (understand).

Symomen, symptom, symposium..... Acronym. Hilarious 😂🤘
😅🤣 Was pretty funny just had to leave it in cause wasn't even the right word to begin with 😅🤣

Nice your vidéo ;)
I highly recommend another Aussie band, Cog - No Other Way. They are revered here in Australia.
