And there for a moment, Lay was legally actually banned from doing any promotions in South Korea. The reason this didn't apply to some other Chinese idols like Jackson from Got7 is because Jackson is from Hong Kong and HongKong is seperate from mainland China with their own rules and their own economy and all that,and HongKong is okay with South Korea. However, Lay is from Mainland China. He was finally allowed to travel to South Korea to see D.O one last time on the day D.O went to military duty. But don't worry, he will be back like normal with EXO as soon as all that dies down.
