About Nerissa saying she knows 2,000 kanjis, it was actually a misunderstanding, it was revealed in FuwaMoco's morning show that due be her being nervous she mistakenly said 2,000 kanjis, when really its 2,000 japanese words, and she only knows 1,000 kanjis. But even then, its still pretty good.
ahh i see that kind of makes more sense but 1,000 kanji for sure is still impressive!

Watching Nerissa has been interesting because she seemed kind of wholesome from her debut but IMMEDIATELY afterwards in her first solo stream she started swearing like a sailor to the point that her mother actually scolded her telling her to tone down the profanity. Interestingly enough, after coming back to this debut 2 months later I feel like she is definitely this same person but I just know A LOT more about her and her family dynamics now.

Nerissa is my current fave Advent member, she just charmed me instantly and her interactions with the other Advent members and Kiara really solidified me as a Jailbird!
Also Perfect Blue IS such a good movie!

I had Perfect Blue on dvd, its good. Nearly all Studio Ghibli films are worth watching. I watched her BG 3 collab with Kaira, Calli and Bibjo. Differently worth watching the vod.

JPLT N1 is around 2000 kanji, so no it's not beginner level. My understanding is that she can read basically whatever but she can't independently compose sentences that are grammatically correct (or necessarily always intelligible)
