in Indonesia this snack called "cakwe", we eat with chili sauce, try it :)

street food is similar in Indonesia🇮🇩. the long form called "cakwe" is usually eaten with dipping chili sauce or as a companion to rice porridge & donuts if in Indonesia we use powdered sugar, we call it "whipped donut or sugar donut".the one using sesame is called "pillow cake" or "odading"
which are shaped like flowers called "pastel" or "oteotes" usually contain pieces of carrots, potatoes & vermicelli then eaten with a drizzle of spicy peanut sauce.
Same as Brunei but the thing which filled with potatoes n beef or mix veg we called it curry puff

As I see the oil container, It should be fake. Normally they don't use proper oil for deep-frying those buns. Sometimes, they use the oil left from the restaurants because it's super cheap. They never care how it impacts the customers' health.
