Hello stranger long time no see .I've been using the edger for quiet some time now they hare the greatest and when you get to the thinner leather they really excel . I am very interested in those long fingered clamps . Happy Trails
Hello just watched your video and extremely informative. I want to now purchase the product to repair some bag handles. Should I purchase the dense edge coat or the basic dense? I’m confused on the difference. Thank you
Hi, many thanks for sharing - very informative. With reference to your other video, what is your preference = alta cuir products with eating method or this one? Is this as durable as dyeing and burnishing or is this restricted to non veg tan leather....just wondering why you would choose edge paint over other methods...? Many thanks in advance.
I love/use all kinds of finishes/products. I don't have the specific preference. I think every product has its merit. this one doesn't much coating as Stahl one but Stahl one can be easier to make the smooth surface even after more coatings.
Hi, just opened the Giardini Maxmatt Semi-dense edge paint i bought and it is already dry. I am thinking that the distributor gave me an old stock, would you agree? Do you have a recommendation how to restore it? Have you encountered this issue before?
Thank you Gabriel, for the message. yes that happens when you don't use Edgecoat for long time. I would get a jar with rubber seal on it so that it doesn't get as much as dried. Edge coat is something that goes bad sooner or later. Don't save them. use them fast
@@leathertoolz Hi, but I just bought it :( Looks like this is an old stock from the distributor i bought it from. Any advice how I can restore it? Appreciate your reply.
Thanks for the review! Just got my dense base paint kit from Giardini and this was really helpful
Glad it was helpful!
How this paint compares to Fenice or Vernis from Rocky Mountain Leather?
"Stirred, not shaken." It doesn't have the same ring to it but duly noted. Thanks for a great video - very .
Will this work on synthetic leather as well?
Your Videos are always informative keep up the great reviews. Happy Trails
Thanks, Mike for the great comment! I appreciate your comment every time. Happy Trails.

Hello, Mike!
Thank you for the comment and thanks for watching my videos!
I will review that clamp in very soon. ; )
I may have to try. I've used the Vernis with good results but find I have to apply multiple coats.
Thank you for the comment and thanks for watching my videos!

Hi, so as I understand no traditional burnishing method with edge slicker is here necessary. Just base, paint and sand paper...
you got it right!
@@leathertoolz Thank you for replying sir!

Do you use heat for this edge paint? what about edge beveling and burnishing?
I'd like to know myself.
Very informative video but please... learn how to focus your camera better. The most critical parts of the video were all out of focus.
I will!
Useful review, but let down by poor focus control.
True. Working on new camera!
