Islam needs us? No. We need Islam.
Exactly. Islam and God are sufficient without us. We need God to survive.
I think they mean needs us as in we need to be a vehicle for Islam. If we don't raise to the occasion, Allah SWT will replace us and Allah SWT is certainly not in need of us, we are in need of Allah SWT. The same way the spider was used to cover the opening of the cave Rasoul s.a.w was in during the hijrah is the same way we are needed to participate in the movement of Islam or risk getting replaced with those who will support the cause of Allah SWT.
O ye who believe! If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly.
So yes, we need to support the cause- indeed it will move forward with or without us and Allah SWT will always raise people who will support His cause.
Where can I learn leadership and the other qualities you talk about. How do I teach them to my children. Any resource suggestions would be appreciated

Management and Leadership Skills are not found in traditional books. You can check edex or such free resources. If you speak arabic dr Souidan has written so many books on this subject. But my favorite is workshops and trainings dr. Souidan offers such programs in English as well.

Because islam is for our benefit. Since islam is a guide for those who submit to Allah. It doesn't need us, But we need it.

The need for ruqyah Legitimacy ، has become legal
It is necessary due to the many problems that people suffer from
(health, social or financial)
God described the Qur’an as a cure, meaning a quick and effective treatment.
Perhaps you do not know the cause of your problems or the faltering of your interests. It may be caused by a mistake, sin, or accident that you do not know about.
The month of Ramadan is an opportunity to perform ruqyah according to Sharia law
It has a spiritual atmosphere and blessing
It helps in healing and solving problems.
Even if you read Surah Al-Fatihah and wipe your body , and read it on the Water and drink it , and repeat it every day.
God has benefited many people with ruqyah
There are many stories about those who tried it.
