I can't tell if you recommend this product or not 🙂 Thanks Beau. I have a DAS and not sure if I want/need a NAS. But if I decide to, I will definitely check out the Synology. There is also the new Ugreen NAS's which allow you to install your own choice of NAS software on. I think the Synology software is probably easiest to use though.
Does this NAS have built-in cloud ☁️ so that you can upload/download anywhere, or is it local only? I'm not super tech savvy, but know enough to find my way around after doing some homework. I'm looking for a simple plug and play NAS though, that doesn't require a lot of work to get up and running
my synology nas (1 and 2 bays) do wok well for me, 5 years now Theses are the less expensive I found I put a git server on it since I am a C++ programmer also I backup daily using lftp (Linux) and rsync [cron automated jobs] You can add firewall rules, so only your computers on the LAN can access the NAS]

Legions are better build. But I'd take the loq if same priced and 1600p model, as it had a better GPU.
