What i'd give to go back in time and see them live. Fila Brazillia, and for that matter; the whole Pork roster, played such a huge impact on my discovery of electronic music and more "experimental" music in general. Fila and Solid Doctor single handedly converted my gatekeeping, metalhead ass to an open-minded electronic music fan. Thank you for everything you did Mr. Cobby.

0:40 Haha :D Fila Brazillia humour was (or is) on par with the quality of their music. It's a great experience to listen to these live versions. A Zed and Two L's still amazes me everytime I hear it. Too bad that I never heard of Fila before 2007 or 2008, so actually, I missed all the years of their existence. A bit too young maybe, born in 1982, and I had a mediocre to shitty taste of music by the year 2000 which had - at least a tiny bit - improved. Ten years later, an 'Another Late Night' poster was (and still is) hanging above my couch. I'm still enjoying my favourite Fila tracks after more than a decade. The contemporary projects of Steve Cobby are excellent as well.

Ditto! I found FB around 2010 (thanks to SomaFM) - now I get nostalgic/lament not listening to them in the late 90s/early 00s!

This is awesome! Fila Brazillia, Kruder and Dorfmeister, and Radiohead were my "soundtrack" during my touring days back in the mid 90's to the early 2000's. This live recording was a real eye-opener, as I'd assumed much more of FB's sound was created from samples and loops. Good music is good music, but I have an increased appreciation for the fine musicianship that went into crafting their remarkable albums. Thanks for the music, guys - cheers from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada!

@@mickredland6399 Completely agree! My band was touring out in BC when I first heard their stuff (on SOMA FM's "Groove Salad" online radio). I then searched and found all their albums on CD. Would really like to find a 44.1kHz/16-bit version of their Old Codes remaster. My iTunes copy sounds great, but it's still compressed. Cheers!

Been a Fila fan for over 20 years, which saddens me that they didn't include AIRLOCK HOLMES or PRESIDENT CHIMP TOE in their set. A live version of AIRLOCK HOLMES does exist and it's amazing...
Thanks for the props Anna. We never did chimp toe live to be fair. We did Airlock for a John Peel session on BBC R1.
This was a festival gig so we had to keep to a tight 45-50 minute set. We did also play Airlock, At Home In Space and Bovine Funk on this tour.
Jump Leads tour was a completely new set.
Saw you guys @ Lowlands that year. Got me hooked on Fila Brazillia and Pork!

At the risk of getting too sentimental, you guys have been one of my favorite bands since I discovered you around 15 years ago. Music that is equally as fun as it is beautifully arranged.
