I love how jamie just doesnt fuck around.. ben tries to play the funny handshake game and he just grabs that shit! :) Loving all of it... I can't wait to see what's next and hopefully this summer we get a huge jam video with a bunch of guests
😂😂😂 Ben is right papyrus was that paper made of woven leaves, but it killed me when he said, "you just wait!" And matt replies, " Wait for what?... 3000 years ago?" Hahahahahahahah
Another great video - I still laugh with all your amazing riding and tricks Matt (The Playground, Skatepark the South Africa, Thailand ect) you still mess up the FAKIE😂😂😂😂 Keep up the good work you 3 together make great content 👍
Ben is totally right. Papyrus is a material similar to thick paper that was used in ancient times as a writing surface. It was made from the pith of the papyrus plant, Cyperus papyrus, a wetland sedge. Papyrus can also refer to a document written on sheets of such material... And I think it is pronounce the same way in Spanish, English, French, Italian
Ben is right about the paper but was clearly wrong about the case on the first attempt😂 so sick to see someone get the hip clean and the nine iron looks epic
Maybe he was a sexual sadist serial killer in another life.. couldn't get it up so he tortured and mutilated his victims.. now he's obsessed with getting everything hard... Maybe he's jack the ripper reincarnated.... I know I take shit too far, it's just who I am as a person...
a material prepared in ancient Egypt from the pithy stem of a water plant, used in sheets throughout the ancient Mediterranean world for writing or painting on and also for making rope, sandals, and boats. It's what burned at the ancient library in Alexandria Egypt. After that came the Era of clay tablets. Cheers from Northern California!!! "the text was preserved, probably on papyrus"
Yeah so, that 9-iron is now absolutely perfect. very satisfying to watch. I got triggered last time seeing it flatter but no its mint. That first hip however needs a remodel like the 9 iron.
Hi Matt you need to get a 50mm gal pipe weld reo bar for concrete about 300mm long at right to the pipe and bang it in to the top of the quarter pipe as a coping.
Funny enough I was just to Egypt last year for my 10 year wedding anniversary and have authenticate hand made papyrus paper hand painted hanging on the wall in front of me. Ben is spot on.
I've always thought, since you guys so often go from the end of main line back up the landing of 9 iron to drop towards the quarter, you might as well make a path so you don't have to ride on grass for that wee bit, just to tidy it up, make the riding experience a bit more smooth (Mayyybe even a lil jump or feature from the sorta wall ride where main line technically ends for now) Also, maybe carve a step-up sort of out of the hill before the lavada so you can pump up it better, like a more official pumpable step-up, so that it's easier without pedals
Of course we know what papyrus is Matt, that's what Egyptians used to write on! To be honest, I'm gonna have to agree with Ben here. Falls into the category of "general knowledge," and considering you know geometry I would have thought you would know about it. But don't worry! I don't know everything either mate :)
With all that speed coming off the big hip, could you maybe build another big takeoff and use the quarter pipe as the landing?if you made it wide enough you could hip a little to both ways and have a split option.left takes you to some new trail, and right launches you into the quarter pipe.that way you could re use the small hip the opposite side of the quarter, and turn it into more of a pipe,or just have a huge step up back out after landing into the quarter. Might take some creative planning, but would open up some huge sick transfer lines!

Ben is 100% right.

Ancient parchment used for conveying text.
Weird fact. It is also a brand of coronary stent for blocked arteries. Papyrus coronary covered stent.. #uselessfacts
@@SimonGrant04 I think my mom has one of those in an artery to her heart.

Another cracking video Jamie! Love it when you have guest riders on your channel!
Seeing Jamie continuously get better at riding is probably the best part of this series
Papyrus is the kind of paper they used to use made of the papyrus reeds that used to grow along rivers in Europe. Ben is right.

It’s actually a sick jump!
I love the little recap at the end of each video. Thanks for that Ben.
We're very lucky to have Ben providing this channel with the culture it really needs. Love me a bit of papyrus
For a royal marine cadet I would never expect to hear the words “contact right!” From Matt, made my day even better
Ben is spitting the facts!
😂😂😂 Ben is right papyrus was that paper made of woven leaves, but it killed me when he said, "you just wait!" And matt replies, " Wait for what?... 3000 years ago?" Hahahahahahahah

Ben you are absolutely hilarious. So funny.
Good to see Matt wearing a prototype of the new Helfare denim collection.

Matt, I always thought you were an intellectual guy. But being oblivious to papyrus has put you way down in my estimations.
I LOVE how Jamie can figure out bens handshake tactics but matt is still in outer space XD!
Came for the comments. Not disappointed 😂 another great upload from the team
Getting ready to buy one of your jerseys, have waited so long for youth sizes!
I used to sell papyrus posters on the island of Symi in Greece.... cheers to you 🤟🎶
Ben is for sure on the right!
Mat great video! You should try to to hit the 9 iron to the dirt pipe then back to the 9 iron landing then finish main line!!
It is like coming home to see you three back running around The Playground!!! The only thing missing was a buildlapse…
We all know what papyrus is...an ancient hand made kind of paper. I was expecting more from you Matt. 😛

Great vid Jamie 😄
Can't wait for the summer of playground videos!
We can’t wait either
ben is absolutely correct on the existence of papyrus. It is a parchment made of a reed that grows in the marshy areas of the nile
a material prepared in ancient Egypt from the pithy stem of a water plant, used in sheets throughout the ancient Mediterranean world for writing or painting on and also for making rope, sandals, and boats. It's what burned at the ancient library in Alexandria Egypt. After that came the Era of clay tablets. Cheers from Northern California!!!

Yep, papyrus. From, like, super olden days!
Don’t agree with Ben, he’s never right about anything
Zut alors!
Love the bickering in this evening's episode
😂 great episode you guys!
papyrus was an egyptian parchment made from Nile reeds. It's also where the word paper stems from.
According to Ben's measuring of that landing....7ft, he must think he is 15 ft tall!!!
hahahaha
I thought that hahahahah
They call him "ole Wide Foot" and "Blockfoot Ben"...
Didnt you know? Lmao😂😂😂
Hi Matt you need to get a 50mm gal pipe weld reo bar for concrete about 300mm long at right to the pipe and bang it in to the top of the quarter pipe as a coping.
Air out the quarter to the step up landing 👌🏼
Learnt about Papyrus in primary school , Bens right Matt , but i am from Cornwall so we wrote on bales of hay in the 90s 😂😂😂

Yes Ben. Papyrus was the first recorded form of paper. Made from dried pressed, cross layered (plaid) reeds.

Jamie constantly getting ribbed for pedalling made my day😂

Papyrus is indeed an Egyptian paper that's made of woven strips of reed (sort of rivergrass) that grows at the banks of the Nile
