love everything your doing guys! Thats the wonderful thing about home ownership, you do what you want!.Luv ya! l had a dear friend who asked me why l did what l did when l remodeled my kitchen, l responded with l love you honey , but when l decided to make my choices , l didnt have you in mind! l still love him and have been friends for 40 years.❤❤❤😊
Obviously, when you installed the metal posts, you didn't necessarily plan for their removal. I can't believe you guys aren't wearing gloves for this demo. Always fun to see what the next projects are. Cheers Guys.
My question is what do you do with your tropical plants when a Blue Norther' hits? I know that Texas is warmer now than in the past, but you still can't trade Dallas for a Mountain Range, (My dream scenario)so the extreme cold that hits every decade or two is really destructive. One of my friends owned as Palm Nursery in Houston and in the 30 years that I lived there every exotic palm eventually froze. I used to drive from rare planting to rare planting every year from Houston to Galveston to see what survived. Then I moved to Palo Alto for a few years and when I came back there were Pygmy date palms, plumosa palms and triangle palms growing rampantly. But with the huge snow event a few years back I noticed they were dead, even though I live in the Pacific Northwest now. I use Google Street View to see how my former homes that I landscaped with tropical and sub-tropical plants fare each year! We really enjoy your content, especially since we garden on a high rise balcony these days. Garden Porn has to suffice for our thrills. You guys are lovely to watch in action!
So this week we are actually having a harsh cold front - and sadly everything goes inside until we can afford to build a greenhouse! But yes, the mountains sound lovely! Technology sure makes gardening interesting these days 😅 Thank you for following along and the support! ✨
I was absolutely mortified to discover the grass wasn't real. Are you guys sure you needed a new deck? Or has Rodney temporarily run out of projects? And speaking of projects, when are you guys going to slow down and start really enjoying all that hard work you've done on the property.
ha! Yes! Actually, the artificial turf was used to kill off the growth below prior to placing the gravel and deck extension! And R&R, what is this?! 😅 ✨
Welcome! Thank you for the support and following along! Fortunately for us, there are 3 of them, quality can never slip ‘round here! Tucker, Curby and Wally! 🐈
How was there no swearing while pulling out those steal beams stuck of concrete? If you didn't build them so well in the first place, they wouldn't be so difficult to remove!
Always enjoy your videos, guys. Keep 'em comin'!
Thank so much for the support and following along! ✨
Se pasó el ingenio, la inteligencia y la habilidad y capacidad de hacer de un cuanto hay y muy práctico por lo demás.
You can tell how well things were built by how hard they are to remove. That was a lot of work! Can't wait to see the completed build.

Kind of feelin the same way. Some organic groundcover, maybe?
