The best Roller. I had a major crush on him as a teen. Those beautiful eyes just made you melt. Still looking good Eric and I will always hold a special place in my heart for my favorite Roller.
My God, he aged well. I had the biggest crush on him when I was young; owned every album they every put out (yes, even the European releases; my mom had a pen pal in England who'd buy them and ship them across the world for me), and hung on every picture, every inteview, every mention of him. Now, as then, Eric remains one of the biggest, brightest and best stars in my universe. We all age (and how I wish we didn't!), but his looks and personality are timeless. THANK YOU, Eric, for being you
Such a beautiful talented man. He was always my favorite. Those eyes! Sometimes they look sad and sometimes happy. I have never seen anyone like him. I have loved him since I was 13 and still do. I would love to meet him one day but living in the US I know that probably won't happen. So happy he is doing well after his illness. My heart cannot take losing another Roller now.
It was a real shock Leslie passing, they had so many plans. After years of just loving him like a crazy kid still, I saw about 15 years ago locally doing a concert, and it was so lucky I found out about it. So like when I was 10, my mum and I went to see it. Though I wasn't crying hysterically all the way through this time.... But I did revert to being like a kid and am very embarrassed to say that afterwards he came out to sign things and I just marched past everyone and kissed him on the cheek. I feel bad about it now because I wouldn't like someone doing that to me. Isn't it strange how things bring out the immaturity in us. There is a really happy ending to my tale, which didn't involve any more BCR concerts. The next day was my first date with my now husband. I told him about the concert and what I had done, he laughed and said that the heat from me blushing about it was steaming up the car. And we've been together ever since. So I'd like to think Leslie helped the match making along. Thanks Les, where ever you are now ♥️
