Hedorah is my second favorite in the franchise. It’s basically an avant garde art film disguised as a monster movie and the psychedelic trippy vibe of it is great. Hedorah’s design is also one of my favorites for just how unique it is. Biollante is the only one that comes close. The original will always be my favorite.

My Dad always said that Godzilla's Revenge occurred in the mind of a young Japanese fan, and is not cannon. It is the first Godzilla movie I saw when I was 8. Bad as it was, it served as a jumping off point for me.

Yeah, it was my favorite growing up. The human characters are some of the best and I don't think the budget being cut shows at all with all the Ufos, alien costumes and bases, rocket ships, mazer tanks, and the planet X set. It probably feels like the most expensive one so far actually.

The last Godzilla, King Of The Monsters movie was incredible. And Kong Skull Island was great too. The effects in those movies were top notch. I hope that the Kong Vs. Godzilla movie is just as good or better than those. I don't expect Kong and Godzilla to really fight each other for very long. I predict they will team up against an even greater foe, but who knows.

I really enjoyed the Showa movies mabey not as much as the Heisei or the Millenium ones, but I do like seeing Godzilla turned from a Bad Guy to the main hero by the latter movies.

I actually really like Godzilla Vs Gigan. The fight is really brutal and the slowness makes the monsters seem bigger and heavier. The human characters were not bad also. As for Godzilla Vs Megalon, it’s not a “good” movie but it is really fun and worth a watch.

I like the dub of Mothra vs Godzilla. Mostly because of an extra scene where a battleship shoots missiles at Godzilla. Something that's not from the original Japanese version from what I've seen.

Gojira doesn't directly translate to godzilla, godzilla is simply the westernized name thought up by the studio. Google translate only say that its a direct translation because at this point its been so many year and it really does now mean Gojira in English. Mosura to mothra is a direct translation. To make the actual direct translation for gojira you would have to smash the words gorilla and whale together.
The Terry O. Morse cut of the original is what introduced Godzilla to the rest of the world... Without it, there would be no Godzilla franchise. The original had already been released in the US two years earlier and went unnoticed. And the box office for Raids Again was way down from the first... Of course the original is superior in every way. But you have to understand that without the American cut, Godzilla would have never left Japan, and you wouldn't be making this video... So despite it's flaws, that version of the film is why Godzilla became the household name that he is to day.
