I think a Treetops Animal Pack could be really good! In a way, it's kind of similar to the Aquatic Pack, a DLC containing animals defined by their locomotion style: 1. White-Nosed Coatimundi 2. Geoffroy's Spider Monkey 3. Matschie's Tree Kangaroo 4. North American Black Bear 5. Manteled Guereza 6. Aye Aye 7. Golden Lion Tamarin But as you mentioned, an adaptations DLC could be a good way for Frontier to do another grab bag pack like Zookeepers, since really every animal has adaptations 😂: 1. Secretary Bird 2. Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo 3. Short-Beaked Echidna 4. White-Nosed Coatimundi 5. Geoffroy's Spider Monkey 6. Walrus 7. Musk Ox
Ooooo I like the concept of a Treetops Animal Pack. I would swap out the American black bear in favor of a species of chameleon like the Jackson’s or panther.
I would really like to see the common marmoset come to planet zoo. It’s such a common animal to be kept at zoo’s, and rather endaring to watch. A bitch to feed, but thats besides the point
South America really suffered from the quadruple punch that; 1. Frontier more or less doesn't do flying animals period and is extremely averse to climbing animals, especially post Indonesia pack. 2. The times we DO get South American animals, they're the types who could carry another south America DLC. Giant Anteater, "any Tapir", Capybaras, Jaguars, both domestic Llamas, Maned Wolf, Sloths and Spectacled Bear (though that one was kinda pushing it in terms of "carrier animals" anyway) all got in being part of the one South Am pack, or sprinkled into random other packs. This leaves us with, what? The wild Llamas, the other Tapir (keep in mind that the first Tapir is base game, so... ouch), Ocelots....? I guess the Ocelot as a header animal works...? Maaaybe Coatis too? 3. Frontier seems to hate birds (even flightless/pinionable ones) and rodents, and keep their additions to the bare minimum. South America has impressive Storks, Trumpeters, Spoonbills, Flamingoes, Fowl both Ground and Water, Maras, Pacaranas, Porcupines, and more. Again, probably not good enough for a header animal, but then again, most DLC only really needs one or two of those. 4. A lot of South American animals suffer from a lot of animals having more well-known or distinct counterparts in other continents. Rheas versus Ostriches, Caimans versus Alligators, American Crocodiles versus Old World Crocodiles, Nutrias versus Beavers, Banded Penguins versus Antarctic and "The" Banded Penguin, Furred Seals versus the particular Sea Lions who can be seen from American Mega-Cities, and so forth.
Planet Zoo is still doing so well with current players above their new PC2! For a 5 year old game that's incredible. I wish they would go back to their 4 packs a year
I really like the idea of the Predator and Prey Animal Packs, the Adaptations Animal Pack would also a fun idea. I'll also put a possible Latin America Animal Pack here to separate the animals up into these different packs. Latin America Animal Pack: - South American Coati - Black Howler Monkey - Ocelot - Greater Rhea - Bush Dog - Patagonian Mara - South American Tapir - Emerald Tree Boa Predators Animal Pack: (I would have loved to have put the Leopard Seal in here) - Nile Crocodile - Serval - Coyote - Secretary Bird - Honey Badger - Perentie - American Black Bear - King Cobra Prey Animal Pack: - Musk Ox - Mantled Guereza - Blackbuck - Mandarin Duck - Greater Kudu - Rock Hyrax - Helmeted Guineafowl - Central Bearded Dragon Adaptations Animal Pack: - Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo - Great White Pelican - Walrus - Sea Otter - Geoffroy's Spider Monkey - Short-Beaked Echidna - Golden Pheasant - Panther Chameleon
My Planet Zoo 2025 Wishlist: Rainforest Animal Pack: Sumatran tiger Matschie’s tree-kangaroo False gharial Ocelot Peruvian spider monkey Black howler White-nosed coati Dwarf crocodile Green anaconda Reticulated python Southern tamandua Central American agouti Toco toucan Blue-and-yellow macaw Scarlet macaw Military macaw Fer-de-lance Safari Animal Pack: Masai giraffe Shoebill Secretarybird Nile crocodile Egyptian cobra Black mamba Serval Honey badger Jackson’s chameleon Rock monitor Greater kudu Common eland Banded mongoose Threatened Species Pack: Chinese alligator Cuban crocodile California condor Red wolf Carnaby’s black cockatoo White cockatoo Red-vented cockatoo Blue-throated macaw Radiated tortoise Chinese giant salamander Fiji crested iguana Golden lion tamarin Anniversary animal: Blackbuck Northern Hemisphere Animal Pack: American black bear Eurasian brown bear Sea otter Scottish wildcat Bighorn sheep Muskox Bald eagle California quail Western capercaillie Common pheasant Peregrine falcon Great horned owl Snowy owl Painted turtle Brown pelican Tufted puffin Whooping crane Walrus
When it comes to what I think the DLC for 2025 is, I think there will be 2 that will be added next year so then the game still has an even amount of DLCs to be paired together for the console edition. The 2 DLCs that I think are going to be added to the game in 2025 are: Safari pack: Gelada, Grevy's zebra, grey-crowned crane, impala, Masai giraffe, Nile crocodile and secretary bird. Islands: Aye-aye, Caribbean flamingo, Goodfellow's tree kangaroo, short-beaked echidna, Sumatran tiger and Visayan warty pig.
I’m still holding out for a Latin America Animal Pack. People often forget that Latin America isn’t just Mexico and South America but all the countries in between and the Caribbean. We need the greater rhea, more New World monkeys, and other unique reptiles that represent the entirety of the area. An “Adaptations” Animal Pack…🤔 I thought I heard that “Impala” was also a name dropped as well. The only things I was able to find that makes impalas stand out is they’re the only ungulate that groom each other and are great at removing ticks. A pelican (I can see the great white pelican since they have the largest distribution and they can receive interspecies enrichment with many species, including the black rhino) would be a stand out creature for an Adaptations Animal Pack and a ground hornbill. It would be a nice teaser for more birds being included in PZ2. Either of the naked mole rat species would be a great first exhibit mammal, and this would be a way to include the aye-aye. Oh! The Pacific walrus would be another good candidate for an Adaptations Animal Pack.
Next pack should be a Rainforest Pack with animals representing animals from the worlds Rainforest like the Tree Kangaroo, Howler Monkey ext or a animals of the world pack representing animals from different biomes
I want a new world animal pack so it can cross out animals like the bighorn sheep, South American coati, black howler monkey, golden lion tamarin/common squirrel monkey, red wolf, goodfellow’s tree kangaroo, echidna, greater Rhea, hellbender, and emerald green tree boa also so it can go with an old world animal pack with animals like the Malayan tiger, secretary bird, shoebill stork, Nile crocodile, musk ox(population in scandanavia), European rabbit, mandarin duck, and the emerald green tree monitor
I don't necessarily think a highland/mountain pack is out of the question... I think there are still lots of animals that would fit in a Highlands pack :)
mountain gorilla, mountain goat, guanaco, vicuña, bighorn sheep, andean flamingo, qinling panda. seven habitat animals that would fit in a mountain pack. idk if it'd be super popular - vicuñas and guanacos are very similar and i'm sure the qinling panda may as well be a palette swap of the giant panda in most players' eyes - but it could be done. and if frontier finally gives us proper aviary birds (even as exhibit animals) we'd have even more options EDIT: just thought of the mountain tapir right after i posted this. there's of course plenty of exhibit animals that would work too but in all honesty i would prefer all habitat animals
There must be a reason they’re avoiding South America. They seem to key in more on Africa, Asia, Australia and the surrounding islands. But they’re also avoiding North America.
Idea of dlc 2025 Latin America animal pack Singe araignée de Geoffroy, ocelot, tamarin lion doré, grand nandou, mara de Patagonie, singe écureuil guyanais, chien de brousse et cinq espèces de grenouille flèche empoisonné

@@sidz222 Hopefully they notice how well Planet zoo is performing and put more effort into the next pack(s)!
I genuinely think they might do that, depending on how well other games perform, and how their resources are allocated for sequels.
I really like the idea of the Predator and Prey Animal Packs, the Adaptations Animal Pack would also a fun idea. I'll also put a possible Latin America Animal Pack here to separate the animals up into these different packs.
Latin America Animal Pack:

-Pacific Walrus
-Dalmatian Pelican
-Southern Tamandua
-Black Howler Monkey

This is so awesome and wow that so cool and think there is new pack coming but think Idea for it!
I’m still holding out for a Latin America Animal Pack. People often forget that Latin America isn’t just Mexico and South America but all the countries in between and the Caribbean. We need the greater rhea, more New World monkeys, and other unique reptiles that represent the entirety of the area.

Walrus would be perfect for an adaptations pack

I think regional would be Americas/New World.
Other than that, I'd say Adaptations is too niche. Safari or Endangered Species is more likely.
My top 2 ideas are Americas:
Sea Otter, Roosevelt Elk, Pacific Walrus, American Badger, Guanaco, Ocelot, Howler Monkey and Coati.
Antarctica: Emperor Penguin, Gentoo Penguin, Macaroni Penguin, leopard seal, Weddell seal.
My pitch for an Adaptations Animal Pack:
- Secretary Bird
- Short-Beaked Echidna
- Goodfellow’s Tree Kangaroo
- Tamandua
- Aye-Aye
- Slow Loris
- Bald Uakari
I wish they added the bald eagle they Might make a bird of prey pack in the game and their should have parrots cockatoos and more flying birds
I want a new world animal pack so it can cross out animals like the bighorn sheep, South American coati, black howler monkey, golden lion tamarin/common squirrel monkey, red wolf, goodfellow’s tree kangaroo, echidna, greater Rhea, hellbender, and emerald green tree boa also so it can go with an old world animal pack with animals like the Malayan tiger, secretary bird, shoebill stork, Nile crocodile, musk ox(population in scandanavia), European rabbit, mandarin duck, and the emerald green tree monitor
unique animals i would say serval and siberian musk deer and aye-aye
I might be delulu but I still belive that South America Pack will come one day
We have the South America pack!
I ment the animal pack with 7/8 species bc we have a scenery pack with 5 species and building pices

@baphamette Japanese serow, tanuki, Himalayan tahr, mountain hare, bob cat, musk ox, L'Hoest monkey, Patagonian mara, chamois, Barbary macaque, rock hyrax alpine marmot
I feel like the next animal pack is a bird that pack or continent pack, the continent pack would include one or two animals per continent
Edit bird pack*
I really want a coati 😍
birds birds birds
fishy fishy fish fish

they still need coyotes!
