This game is the ultimate Soulkiller. It rips you apart just to be able to keep some pieces inside forever. It is so damn suggestive that the division between real life and virtual life of V is so blurred.
I don't think V gets a "bad ending" (except with Arasaka we can argue), V can gift Johnny with a new life, one to start again and stop being an asshole, Johnny can gift V 6 months, more than enough to accomplish his dream, the blaze of glory.
V dies no matter what. If you go back into your body, it's your AI engram. Soulkiller already killed her and installed an AI copy. The AI V gets to live for 6 months because the physical body breaks down after that, same thing would have happen to Johnny if he went back. AI is meant to be in the cyberspace, Alt was right. Really dark and sad to think about. They fought so hard and was so hopeful...but...the Rogue AI wars is coming....and that's terrifying. Alt and Johnny can kick their asses, but that's...for another story for another time.
@@adamm784 no Johnny lives for a whole life, V's body is designed for him now, that's what's poetic in a way, V can sacrifice his whole dream to give Johnny a second chance, a second life, which he probably doesn't deserve since he already died. I've loved this game, but at the same time I found the endings a little unsatisfying. I feel like if they tweaked the endings to where you get to continue to live in Night City after you finish the campaign, the game wouldn't feel so pointless or dead after. Making you play in an old save to finish the hundreds of side missions makes it feel like you didn't really make any impact to Night City, and since it's an old save, you technically haven't. I think it would be more satisfying if they actually let you live in a Night City with the Arasaka tower being removed after you finish the story, instead of a little text window saying "Thanks for playing! You can find her in the river later with her feet encased in cement .and a few peoples bodies and graves throughout the game .keep an eye out ...its a brutal game with a brutal soundtrack

this part remind me the Witcher 3 soundtrack
Thank you for posting the Wallpaper Engine link. Looks awesome!
This song in particular really has some TW3 vibes to it
Thank you so much for the upload! - It helps me whilst coding.
Nice job with this mix, man - transitions are really good
Thank you for this, I can't stop listening! 😍
"So quiet life or death in the glory?" -Dex
"Now you find out what it is you need to do.
You've never backed down from anything in you life, even when you maybe should've.
You go through Night City knowing a stray bullet could end you while hailing a cab.
But that's never stopped you from taking action.
If you gotta kill, kill.
If you gotta burn it all to the ground, then let it burn." -Skye
Dex, we already know what V really Decide, But Dex choose Quiet life for V and V? He/she really Choose Death in the glory and not the quiet life.
Remember guys... Never Fade Away, and keep on fighting...
Amazing song for an amazing game.
I got the whole sountrack album with my purchase from GOG... Plus other goodies in game... Can't Complaint!
For people like me, that liked Johnny from the start, leaving him behind made me feel empty, even in the "happy" ending...
Been playing cyberpunk for over 200 hours on stadia. Still haven’t met hanako, been driving around night city and taking small jobs and exploring. It’s an amazing game, just wish the a.I would be better kinda like rdr2
man i didnt want johhny to go...
Didn't realize how much I loved Johnny until the end when we had to let him go...
@@BelleMort6 it's like they say...You don't know what you've got until it's gone. I felt so empty when he wasn't there, and I know V felt the same...
You know when I realized I really, really missed Johnny? The corpo ending. Sitting there in that fucking porcelain jail cell. Test after test. And I realized I could hear the silence. Usually, Johnny would've popped up. Some plithy comment. Snide remark.
Only silence.
@@JB-xl2jc its like losing a best friend you didnt know was there for you till they were gone . ...it hit me hard ....had a similar event in real life .
For everyone drawn to this song i'm sure we all wish we had a happier ending
Depression kreygasm
Thank you.
Depressed eargasm
I understood from the comments I read: Everyone is so lonely !! When I finished the game, part of me was left there ...
Same ...same ...
This game is the ultimate Soulkiller. It rips you apart just to be able to keep some pieces inside forever. It is so damn suggestive that the division between real life and virtual life of V is so blurred.
Maaan, the goosebumps... from head to toe and back!
Thank you for this, this music is sooo good!
Good bye V, and, never stop fightin'
My first path i took the "lets just end it option " 😭😭😭😭😭😭 and to quote judy on that ending ..."i cant ...i just cant do this..its too much "
I don't think V gets a "bad ending" (except with Arasaka we can argue), V can gift Johnny with a new life, one to start again and stop being an asshole, Johnny can gift V 6 months, more than enough to accomplish his dream, the blaze of glory.
Or V can get 6 months to accomplish his dream, and god he does it at 200%, that Sun ending was so powerful
@@tirelipinponchiwawa9368 ah that's true. Man game is so good
@@adamm784 true it's really cool! No matter which ending you choose there's something "unfair", like you said, V is an engram, or if you chose to play Johnny to save V, Johnny isn't rewarded for what he did and just commits another sacrifice, etc... This story is really amazing, loved the game
@@tirelipinponchiwawa9368 I feel like the world story is gonna be so much bigger. This was personal... I feel like this game was to introduce you to the harsh world of 2077 setting up a global over taking of rogue AI. The start of the bigger picture.
Best music and game ever.
Nooo,I cant use it as working BGM. :(
everytime it come to cello part, i just want to cry ;(
Really looking forward to that DLC where you do the heist on the space casino.
I always picked the ending where I leave with Panam and Judy, but I can't shake the feeling that I'm leaving Misty and Vik behind.
Especially Misty,, like she lost Jackie and now V is leaving the city for good. Like it'd be cool to have Misty come with as well as like,, a friend. She does say as well when you're on your way to Jackie's funeral (if you invite her) that she has thought about leaving the city.
I dunno, I got really attached to Misty, she was fun to talk to 💔
Definitely has Witcher 3 vibes.
Though the exact same thing, honestly could plop this on the witcher and It would fit.
Same composers
omg this song makes me cry bc this is the ending song after finishing the game ;(
He will find a way to survive i belive !
One of the endings holds V's ticket to surviving... ;)
@@BelleMort6 Actually as I know, all of endings leads to the death of V. Some of them right away, some of them later but it's not a happy farewell (exception the Panam ending with Judy, only on female V).
@@peha688 Nope. I'm not just trying to be optimistic. You've got to look closer. It's there to see. There's someone V meets in certain endings who has the ability to save V's life.
@@BelleMort6 With the casino heist ? Well, even if she finds something to save her life, she lost Judy or he lost Panam. Nothing is worth living after that... I hope that in the next DLCs we'll be able to find a cure while doing the ending with judy and Panam/Aldecaldos, the only "happy ending".
@@CODT313 It seems like you may be able to. Panam says she's got contacts - that may end up leading them around to the same place. I would hope so, because those endings aren't the good ones for my V and River - he stays with her only in the casino ending. It's got to work out for everyone somehow.
The cello part 😌
Good job!
Westworld Season 2 feels with the Hanako ending. the Delos project
2:32 you're about to see some serious shit
Judy is such a Judy
the anti-Karen
dark cello hits different
Epic!!!
37:19 very emotional
good story, I'll say that much
“I’ll see you around, Johnny”
Damnn..it....brought me tears to see all endings ends in Sadness especially the part where either Johnny or V says goodbye to one another also feels bad to when romanced with Panam.... good game..I enjoyed playing it, played as male V.
Witcher Violin, suddenly getting the empty feeling after finishing Witcher, scraping for any remaining quests.
“I got nothin to go back to Johnny… not so for you.”
First ending I got was for me the worst.
SPOILERS:
It when you go alone to find Hanako.
I didn't want to put in the danger Panam and her Nomad friend.
But didn't know in the process, I was truly alone. Not even Johnny was here...
And when I was in space... I realized what I have done. Those damn corpo got me good.
Righr now I'm trying the get secret ending (Good relationship with Johnny and ask for help of Panam I think)
@I want to suplex Joe Cecot So far, it's seems to be the best ending for both Johnny and V.
Johnny can be with Alt and V spend is 6 months with Panam and other Nomads / Friends.
@I want to suplex Joe Cecot Gotta wait for updates. They are not done with the story
You wanna do the solo ending then .literally wait for 5 minutes before deciding and johnny brings up the "blaze of glory" option ...and you solo arasaka tower with johnny helping you .and its truly badass .
@@mattparker1078 Woah really? This is what I wanted. Just V and Johnny finishing their business
@@Shaadwz you are welcome .and i mislabled the name for it . The actuall correct name is (Dont) Fear the reaper . but might as well be called the blaze of glory option anyways because thats what you are essentially doing as its just you and johnny together on a suicide run lol
Good luck Johnny
You what this cello is? Death. Inevitable. The end.
If there is music in heaven, this would be it
depression the song
Awesome
2:14 remains me The Witcher 3 theme
Thank god I got the happy ending
Cyber Fanboy ;)
2:30 - when you suddenly become aware of what IS.
"I'm not his girlfriend"
«V.. I'm just.. I'm just scared for ya.»
It's over now!"
reminds me of the music inside the vault in half life alyx
I'm not dying if they don't play this song when I'm about to die
V: Just promise me one thing asshole, that you never forget me.
«Just promise me one thing asshole!...You won't forget me...»
Man I'm pissed I can't leave night city except through the Aldercaldos ending or say fuck it and go with Alt with Johhny.
you got city to burn samurai
