"Avoid hard drugs. They make you talk too much and that's annoying."
Joe Fish NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IT MEANS BUT ITS PROVOCATIVE
I really can relate when he's talking about what it's like to be around a bunch of drug users and you're always sober. Patrick makes a lot of valid and consistent points overall. I'd love to have a conversation with this dude, he seems like he has his head straight on his shoulders
Funny interview, seems like a legit dude. His new band Drug Church is ridiculously good as well and they're reppin' Albany and the Capital Region boyyyy.
I really like listening to this dude
Never actually heard about this guy, or his band, but he's a brilliant dude. Glad i stumbled across this video.
his new band drug church is amazing!
lol this guy
2:09 Didn't realize he was from New York until I heard him say the word "dude" hahaha
Well spoken dude, good band, and a great interview.
i like his slight New Jersey accent thing he has going on, haha
I wanna hang out with this guy
I love this haha. Definitely the best one.
Love Pat so much
this guy rules
they kinda have their own post punk thing going on. it's pretty interesting, definitely some lungfish and other dischord influences but they really have their own sound. I personally like their earlier stuff, when they were still called End of a Year they had an album called Sincerely which is awesome. There was also an album called warm which was kick ass.
Best one yet.
what a cool guy
What’s the background music?????
(Found it, it’s feel good by numbers - the go! Team (I’ve known this band since I was like 8 so it was very coincidental finding it lol))
so glad his is so long hahahahaha
Patrick needs to talk to Brace Belden
For sure.
the things on his neck move in mysterious ways @_@
What exactly do they sound like? Any certain bands they sound similar to? I'm in class so I can't just start blasting music haha.
Hahaha I love this guy. He kinda seems like he grew up imitating guys who are like "a man's man" with the way he talks and his gestures, but he threw down some deep shit. Look. I'm starting to imitate him now. I can relate to what he says about being straight edge and looking at the drug-happy people around him. Personally, I didn't grow up with a good support network, how to talk out my feelings, I've always spent a lot of time alone and I've gone through deep depression a few times. With alcohol, I'll probably become an alcoholic. With weed, I'll probably become a depressed, paranoid stoner. With hardcore drugs, I'll probably be dead. DMT looks cool, but hey, I'm no trust fund baby. I got rent to pay.
some kid ...ever read any Hemingway? Manly men can be deep and profoundAF.
This guy is hilarious.
Couldn't agree more with what he said about being offended. Spot on.
4:20 : probably Bane
What's his comic?
11:27 THAT'S ME
the straight edge comment was interesting. its almost as if he, and all straight edge people, really have no trouble at all saying no to drugs. like....like its not really a stance at all.
I’ve never met a recovered/recovering addict refer to themself as ‘straight edge’ during sobriety.
Straight Edge is a healthy sentiment that I can respect, but it gets to a point of chest beating, where they’ll turn the nose up at people that deal with very real addictions.
Natalie Raitano. lol!
I also find drugs real fucking annoying. Especially weed
White Samuel L. Jackson.
I thought this kid was cool until I watched this video and realized he hasn’t been through shit, which I guess thank god, I hope he never feels the euphoria of heroin. What bliss ignorance must be
lol shut up.
