    I normally use a harness with Slush, and I wish I did here. This was a very short ride. Use a sled dog harness for the best pulling experience! 😊

    Hey you might wanna switch to a harness. Right now all the pressure on the leash transfers to your dogs trachea. A trachea collapse is a real injury, look into it. Other than that looks fun! I searched for your vids because i just bought inline skates and started skating with my dog

    I just bought myself some inline skates I’m practicing on them before I ride with my dog. Can’t wait for your video on giving tips, that would help a lot 🙏

      Woo! That's awesome. I'll work on it soon, I have more stuff for it! Practicing with your dog in an empty parking lot is always a good place to start.

    Hey man, what a great video with a lot of information for someone like me who is buying my first skates. I'm also getting them for my dog to pull me also. I have a choice of your ones or Macroblade 80, which would you recommend for a beginner?

    • @SlushTheHusky
      @SlushTheHusky  3 года назад +3

      Heyo! Most people start on 80 or 84 mm wheels, but I would recommend starting on the 90mm because you can go through terrain easier. Little sticks and rocks wont make you fall as easily! You lose a little manuverablity with the larger wheels. It can be a bit harder to do an "S" with larger wheels; I still do them all the time on my 90 mm wheels, but I couldnt ever do it on 120 mm wheels!
      At the end of the day, it's all muscle memory. I'm an advocate for larger wheels for sure! Also, try to learn without the break on the back. I have a lot of creative ways to stop now that I didn't rely on that.
      I want to create a RUclips video on How to Rollerblade with your dog, but there's a lot of info I want to jam into it because I'm super passionate about it!

    how do you slow down ?? is there a command given to the dog?

    • @SlushTheHusky
      @SlushTheHusky  3 года назад

      Sorry for replying so late, I start slowing down by tugging on the leash a certain way and pulling Slush to my side. Keeping him in his lane really helps with control.

    How do you train your husk to stop if you ever encounter an intersection?

    • @SlushTheHusky
      @SlushTheHusky  3 года назад

      I usually pull back on the leash beforehand, pulling Slush to the safe side. Most of the control comes from the leash tugs!
