Magnifique ! Merci pour ce formidable travail de conservation. Au moment où la planète s'interroge à propos de la décarbonation des transports, voici un témoignage de l'intelligence du passé !
What an EXCELLENT Video! I want to shake your hand while I get a Klennex to wipe the TEARS from my eyes as the scene from about 9:12 reminds me so, so, much of the South Shore Line's Orange Cars that had that very same A-2 Type Horn, and going 45-50 mph down the Right Of Way through Gary, Indiana between 2nd and 3rd Avenues! It is no doubt that the Railroading World lost a GEM when the North Shore exited from the business! Again, an EXCELLENT piece of work! :)
Fantastic event, looking forward to celebrating the 70th anniversary of the museum this year. It was awesome meeting you there I hope our channels appear at the museum again soon! Great video👍
My son is special needs and he really likes interurbans 🚋🛤 he thinks they are highly underrated forms of public transportation and all should be preserved, restored, and put back into service carrying passengers between cities just like they use to. He also thinks that the entire North Shore Line should be rebuilt and used again as well as the Chicago, Aurora, & Elgin, the Sacramento Northern, and Pacific Electric but he does not want that to be wishful thinking he wants it to be a reality!
Thanks for sharing this video. Very enjoyable!
Exceptional video!!! Thank you!!

Part of the museum trackage sure looks like the South Shore Line!!!

Footage at the beginning is awesome! Love the shots of interurbans at speed!
👏👏👏👏👏👍🚃🚃🚃Great video thanks for posting. I wish I could have been a rider on one of those runs. The night run would have been nice.
Beautiful work on this video, and a great job done by the folks at IRM! Cheers, D.P. Arnold
Wow! That is so cool! Great history and thoroughly enjoyed the video!
Thanks a bunch!
Excellent work!
Thank you!
The last run of the night was the best
Definitely!
Terrific video!! Restoration on NSL equipment has been beautiful at IRM and a trip to the museum is a must for every rail enthusiast.
Thanks! Also, East Troy has done fantastic work, and they're working on another merchandise dispatch car
@@TWIGYBNSF I wish IRM could engineer a trade-off with Seashore to get #415 diner car. That woud be the iceing on the cake for any NSL collection.
I’ve been there
Loved this! Where did you find the Jim Martin footage? I’ve been looking all over for NSL footage but can’t seem to find much.
I had asked him directly for special permission to use his videos
Bitter cold day
But no snow :c
Unfortunately, the Electroliner could not operate.
