Thanks man, I consider myself a decent tactician but I learned a couple things from seeing how you use your maps. I appreciate the no nonsense approach, respect from northern Wisconsin
Great video. I would bet the LiDar you show around the 8 minute mark depicts an old beaver damn. Helps explain why there is a difference in grass growth and color on the old damn vs surrounding... whatever it might be phragmite vs marsh grass vs cattails.
It’s possible by law that loggers leave a buffer area close to water. That’s why they don’t harvest trees up to the waters edge? I’ve heard that anyway. Probably for runoff.
That's a good point especially if there things like stream management zones. Around here, I've seen some instances where they've gone up to the water edge and some where they've not. But often there is a buffer strip.

Cool video. I appreciate how you described the vegetation types and what brought you to that conclusion.
Good video Garrett, getting me super pumped for hunting some Minnesota swamps this weekend! Good luck!!
Good to see you making these again. Have a great season
Great to see more deer hunting content. Especially the content on the Big Woods and its unique challenges.
Eminem, is that you? LOL
