Ma'am, I made this with the same veggies, but the batter was with Sooji and some besan and it turned out excellent. Instant handva. Nice change from the Punjabi food, which of course I love.

Can i soak ths overnight and den grind it in mixer the nxt morning or the way uv described 4 hrs soak and den grind and 6 hrs keep again for fermenting. As I soaked it at 10pm and 4 hrs wer over at 2am and evry1 is sleeping in th house hence I can't grind it.

Hi chetna... I used to make handva earlier too.. n pretty much the same way. I loved ur top for better fermentation. But I have a question for u. After it cools down n two three hourse have passed .. the handva doesn't remain that soft...
