I hope that they open that walkway around the church before our next visit in May 2025 as it has always been closed every time I have visited previously.
One day I will do a film of a church I found a few years back on the way to Limassol. There are some murals inside showing what happened to some martyrs. It is pretty grim stuff.
@@PaphosLife I always make a trip to amathus to visit the cave church. It used to be hidden by trees n brushes but now there's houses n apartments at the side of it ☹️
Awesome x
Thank you. Hopefully the water will be in it in December when we come out again🤞🤞
Loved visiting St Paul's Pillar and hope we can walk round it one day!! Great film, thanks!
I hope so too!
Hidden gems of the Republic of Cyprus.

Yes it has been closed for some time now. It is annoying.
take me in front of the Pyramos hotel and the argo restaurant....
Been in there a few times over the years, apparently they took "Paul" out every day to whip him.....he must of been a very naughty boy 😂😂

That looks like the same Bubbles bar I used to go to back in 1993?
I imagine the rest of the area has changed a bit since then!
Bar Street was better 23 years ago, with tavernas owned by families.
