  • who doesn't like a good hike/trek haan ??
    so self, wife and our kiddo went on this beautiful hike..most of the people call it a trek but i guess i will stick with the term hike..
    its the oh so beautiful triund trek ahead of dharamshala..
    it starts from the Gallu temple ahead of Dharamkot..
    in total it is about 12 km up -down.. with great views obviously..
    most precious advice : start early..carry water and cash..
    do not play music on the way up or at the top.. it is irritating man.. real irritating..
    ..
    be ready to face the rain.. weather is really unpredictable..
    ..
    if it is sunny in the day.. chances are it WILL rain in the night
    there is facility to stay at the top..rent's about 600-1200 depending on your needs..
    cheers!! have fun

    Sir, if there is no washroom on top, how do other females manage, isn't it a problem for them?

    • @sukhbirplays
      @sukhbirplays  2 месяца назад

      Primarily there are very few people AT THE top.
      And secondly there is decent (forest/tree) cover for females to relieve themselves. . Just like the good old days. .
      I guess at times like these the body adapts and offsets itself..
      amazing 🤩

    how can i plan for triund trek from delhi?

    • @sukhbirplays
      @sukhbirplays  2 месяца назад

      Delhi to Chandigarh
      Either a halt or stop for breakfast at the least.. there after 5 -6 hrs to Dharamshala. .
      Next day start early around 7. Reach top till 10.
      Either plan a stay there or come back.
      In case planning to stay, carry a warm hoodie n a raincoat along with paise n paani.. you’ll get tent or a shared room up there.
      In case coming back on the same day, start between 1-2 pm.
      Pray it does not rain 🌧️

      BUT, keep the following things in mind:
      1. the weather is unpredictable (and there is no shelter in between except for the mid point) 🌧️
      2. Last 1.5 km is comparatively steep. So be prepared 😊 ⛰️
      3. Start early so that you can take breaks and move up easily and come back on time. 🕰️
      4. I will not advise a night stay but your call ☎️
      5. Do not hesitate to ask for help from fellow hikers.. only the best people go for this hike/trek ❤️
