In the comics, he actually did meet the real Spider-Man and Doc Ock during that scene. I imagine it was going to be difficult to get the rights so showcase Spider-Man so they got as close as possible by having the actor who played Spidey in the show, “Spectacular Spider-Man and having Agent Spider reference the Spider Verse.
Also, in comics, he meet batman, and the walking dead world.

That happens later, this scene in this episode is a single panel in the comic fight so they actually did more than they originally did
There's a fan theory that because the main universe Mark got his powers so late compared to other Viltrumites & his other versions, he didn't spend years being trained by Omni-Man to follow Viltrumite customs & support the idea of their Empire taking over the Earth compared to all of the other Marks from other universes, hence why they lack the empathy for humanity our Mark has.
Also to go with that theory, our Nolan would’ve then had more years to become closer with Mark and Debbie causing more humanity to grow within him. Thus in this universe specifically, he grew to care for humans, abandoning his task, and later fathering Oliver (who has only been found in this universe), whom was born from another weaker species Nolan grew to care for.
Agreed, Main Nolan didn't teach Main Mark until he was sure he was a Viliturmite, he even says this. It would also make sense that other versions of Mark because they had gotten their power early on and were taught by Nolan instead of Debbie. While, Main Mark was taught on morality the other being taught by a viltrumite did not.
Edit: Now that I think about it. Didn't Sinsiter Mark's Mom die early on in his life? And he hates her?
Our mark isnt the main universe mark though, thats why he is one of the few good ones. Alternate reality/version that we follow in the series.

It is nice and all, but in some other worlds it has been stated that Omni Man took Mark to rise him in another world, in others he kills him on the fight. What makes the worlds different might just be that Mark was just different in other worlds.
If Mark graduates college and gets a job he likes, and lives for 500+ years… he’s going to have to retire early or else his coworkers will look at him crazy
Would probably have to move around just like vampires ,work every job in the world amd live in every country different cities and towns after 5 years cause they'd be surprised why he still looks 17 after all that time

another cool detail about that spider man scene, in the comics mark tells spider man about what’s happening in his world so spider man webs onto marks back so when mark gets transported he can come with him to help but the way levy places the portal it cuts off the web, that’s why mark had it on his back when he came thru the portal

Why didnt Levy Just kill the actual Evil Marks in the other dimensions? He deliberately chooses the good Mark cos he would never be able to kill the evil ones . Its sad that evil commands more respect in angstroms head.

He does get some. He gave one Mark over to the female Donald and Cecil in a different dimension in an earlier episode.

There's a brief blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment, in the scene where the Alternate Mark is going down the line and knocking peoples' heads off, where the subtitles show (and I quote) "[Debbie sobbing]".
Now, I'm not sure if this was a mistake or what, because I don't think it sounds much like Debbie and we don't see her on screen, but this makes me wonder if what Angstrom said isn't entirely true. Maybe it appears like she joined them, but in reality she's more being held hostage. When you think about what Nolan thought of her before his reform (a "pet") there are some *dark* implications...
5:54 This was kinda spoiled a little when people heard that Josh Keaton was casted for INVINCIBLE Season 2. Josh Keaton is well known as the voice of The Spectacular Spider-Man (2008 - 2009) often credited as being the best Spider-Man cartoon alongside the 1990s Spider-Man Animated Series. The Invincible comic also did this very same scene but actually featured Spider-Man (Could only see his hand) and the back of Doc Ock. We don't see anything that happened in between as the next shot is Mark coming back through the portal with a web attached to his back.
Marvel would later release a Spider-Man/Invincible crossover comic that showcased what happened with this very same being played out. Mark and Peter later chat on a rooftop and then go off to meet the New Avengers featuring Iron Man, Spider-Woman, Captain American, Wolverine, Luke Cage etc. Mark calls them some funny names, calls Luke Cage "Black-Man" while Iron Man is "Robot-Man", Captain America is "Flag-Man" and Spider-Woman is "Bat-Woman".
The Batman cameo also happens as well but the sky is red and the city in the background as a more gothic art deco look both pulled from the Batman Animated Series. You could also see Batman's arm as well instead of only the cape but I can't recall if Mark drops the name "Batman" or if he just says "Your a man that dresses like a bat".

So it actually was Rudy (Robot who took Rex's DNA) I don't want to spoil anything major here, but let's just say due to reasons, eventually Rudy started going by Rex (to honor him) So it was just grown up Rudy going by Rex in the future.

kinda but not really, first he’s a kid, second he only JUST got his powers in the past like 5 years or maybe even sooner. he doesn’t know how to use them to their fullest potential, combine that with the fact he’s never fought all out, every fight he just tries a little bit harder

Viltrumite powers kind of work like human muscles in that they get stronger through exercise as well as age. Mark just hasn't had much chance to actually use his the full extent of his powers and get stronger.
Seasons 1 and 2 of Invincible takes place in less than a 2-year period. In terms of where his power is compared to other viltrumites, Mark just hit puberty and he's going up against other viltrumites who are hundreds of years older than he is.
FUN FACT: in the comics, Invincible actually met Spider-Man and Doc Oc.
Fun fact in the comics that when invincible came back from the portal from Spider-Man’s world the web on him was spiderman actually trying to come to his world without thinking just out of pure intention to help to repay a favor but armstrongs portal closed before he could go snapping the web and then Peter realizes it would’ve been really stupid and proceeds to swing away to go eat dinner with his wife

I theorize that the reason Oliver doesn’t exist in the other universes is because this is the only universe where Nolan isn’t evil.
Bytheway that may sound confusing but the guardians team that found mark were not from a different dimension, just different timeline,
so yeah their version of mark was literally our mark that just wasn't found because he was stranded in a different dimension

Also in the comic there is a event called "invicible war" were Levi invade whith like 30 evil marks and kill a lot of image comics super heros (img comics in the editor of invincible), and the conquest arrive so this new caracter will probably be in ep1S3, the invincible war is kinda importent to marks downward mental spiral as he now accept more moraly grey things and become the face of yet an other city destruction in the public eye

The reason why future eve calls Rudy aka Robot Rex is because during the invincible war Rex sacrifices him self and Rudy takes up the name Rex in his memory so that he can continue living on.

Nah, time passes the same or similar. They even said he survives but "he wouldn't like what he became" implying that the mark that spent ~20 years their has become, understandably, monstrous.

THEY said 20 years for them but for mark in THAT dimension he probably stayed for a long time, longer than 20 ( their mark ). They also explained it took time to develop dimensional travel and then even more for time travel. BUUUT I will say it could probably be either one cuz I don't think it's really been confirmed at least not right now. but I'm almost certain it's merely time travel with the addition of dimensional as well because they created their own way of doing so!

I was just saying that there's another version of mark that stayed in that dimension for the 20 years it took them to invent time travel and find the dimension that he got stuck in(not sure if there is anymore, don't know how time travel rules work in the invincible universe).

We will get to see battle beast in season 3 when omni man and Allen releases all the Prisoners from the cells to make a Distraction so that both omni man and allen could escape the prison with battle beast. So after 3 of them escape the prison successfully allen and omni man will Recruit battle beast to fight the viltrumites in the coming war in season 4!

Except the confusing part is, Mark wasn’t there for 20 years. Rex couldn’t have sacrificed himself because that requires the Invincible Wars to happen.

And they pretty clearly imply without their intervention, he would have been stuck there for a long time, so yea...

I don't believe that Kate shit at all either, Belz. I think it was shapeshift potentially being ordered by Cecil to pull this stunt with the hopes that it gets him back on the right mindset.

(yes, in the comics rae dies devoured. and she is actually a man). In the comics, Rex is responsible for killing the entire lizard league.
I don’t get it. Eve can use powers on humans right she did it in atom eve special. Sure she can’t do it cause the blocker but in 20 years she should have gotten rid of that. Would have been smart to have her heal mark too am I missing something
She doesn’t have control over the limiter. It requires a very strong emotional response. There’s another thing that can happen that breaks the limiter but it’s a HUGE spoiler.

In both the comics and the show, Mark pissed me off on how long it took him to handle this situation. Nolan would've ended that quickly.
Nolan is a killer mark was raised as a human Goku isn't a killer he's just as soft as Mark but people praise him Vegeta is a natural killer mark getting his first kill or having killer instinct should be a tough for him that's the humanity Debbie instilled in him
@@nobruno Don't assume I meant killing. I didn't say Nolan would've killed or Mark has to kill him, even though it's justified. Mark only needs to use his superspeed to cripple, knock him out or paralyze him. You don't have to be raised as a killer to understand that, especially with the battles he has been through so far. Even Nolan told him to stop holding back in life or death situations. What you are saying is NO EXCUSE.

With the battles he's fought up to that point should've given more than enough experience to understand how to handle this. Mark had multiple chances to cripple this man. He doesn't have to kill him, just immobilize him. For something like this, Mark has no excuse.
