Hi. I’m someone who loves cassettes and tape players in general and I’m wanting to learn how to actually fix and repair these machines. As a beginner or someone who has no or minor experience in tech restorations or anything on the mechanical (how to fix them) side of them. Where should I start to learn and gain knowledge?
Have bought a F63 - radio ok - bought a new replacement belt - all function as play rev ff works - but WM only delivers high tone to speaker - any idea what to fix it?
That's only the beginning, wait till you have to strip out down completely. from my experience you need to be keen and take lots of photos as you go, even if you have the manual they never fully document the wiring layout, otherwise it can look like a spilt bowl of spaghetti and you ether successfully put it together or bin it.
Hi I followed your video for my own Sony Sport Walkman . Everything works perfectly (rewind, Forward, stop, reverse) , except for the "Play" in both ways. The little rubber cylenders turn, but not the black plugs for the cassette wheels. Could you give me tip so it can works too. Thanks in advance. Regards.
Question: How do the rubber buttons change out? If you know this, thank you in advance. I appreciate guys like you. I just bought 2 of these. I had one back in the 80's but I wore them out. So, now I have bought 2 that have been rebuilt. Thank you again.
Just purchased the walkman sports at a garage sale today, so your video is of great interest to me. The background music is beautiful, but your production would be of quality if you spoke and explained what you are doing. Either have soft music in background, or no music and just you speaking. Also I notice you do not respond to the you tubers. Because of no talk and response I consider your tutorial very poorly executed, and you get a thumbs down from me.

Please rename this video to "How to clean yellow plastic with a toothbrush."

Something safe for electronic equipment. You can get it at any electronic repair shop. No particular brand.
