Thank you for this very informative lesson, David. I appreciate it very much as I have so much to learn. So basically, starting at the beginning beginning, for me, will maybe lessen my stress levels and frustration at never turning out anything that I am pleased with.
    Thank you again.

Beautiful as always David!! And I just learned something I never knew. This is going to be soooo helpful moving forward. Because I’m not a full time artist, I often am having to base coat and paint in the same evening after work. Using sealer into my Heritage acrylics I’ll be able to base coat without the base coat mixing with the layers that same evening! Thank you sooo David, I’m ordering some more sealer today 😊

Daisies are such happy little flowers! Love watching you create a composition and am learning so much so thank you! I’m trying soak up all the information I can on my Jansen Art paints, mediums and brushes that I purchased. Your casual strokes and backgrounds fascinate me and you definitely are a master. I love painting landscapes and have never had any interest in painting flowers but my awe over your painting techniques has changed that and I want to learn more. So I am practicing and will try to paint a 2-3 small arrangements a day (painting quickly and casual I hope). Rome wasn’t built in a day and my ability to paint flowers won’t be either but I’m old and stubborn so I’m going to keep at it. I also ordered a couple of your books and can’t wait for them to come in! Sorry this is Long!!

You would get a kick out of the fact that I automatically answer you out loud every time you ask if that makes sense 😋. I also do a lot of nodding and saying mmmhhmm😅. I know your paint is amazing by watching you use it to create so many different techniques and subjects. An artist friend who has a RUclips channel says that it is the most amazing acrylic paint she has ever used. She prefers using oil paints for her still lifes and landscapes, but your paint has changed her mind on that, too. She also professes to be a paint brush collector. But time and time again, your brushes are the ones she reaches for first. I really want to learn to paint in the impressionistic way that you paint in. I really like all of the different styles that you create in but the impressionistic with all its movement is my favorite. It speaks casual elegance to me. So I'm going to ask for your paints and brushes for my birthday 😊. This was another very informative and enjoyable video. You would be amazed at how much I've improved in my painting journey from watching and learning from you. I always go back and watch your videos a couple of times. I'm trying to fill my toolbox, my brain. 😊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊

You are Great, saved my sanity. This is Neda blind in Idaho. I know I'll be completely blind, but I will still be able to Paint.
My biggest problem is my yellows, & green.
I like making my own Green how you teach it. My Yellow? I feel I'm doing something wrong.? I always think it is florescent?!
I know it's not, or too dark.
I sold my paintings Last year, I have a blast with the background. Getting my fingers in there, I almost paint with my fingers more.
It sounds silly but I can feel the petals. You probably understand but I can feel the petals like when I was when I had my farm growing my roses and all everything that I had. I had Lily lane, Rose road pionee. Place. I mean it because of. My flowers everywhere and so I would feel that no clearly because you're out there. Reading what not?
I just that yellow is my nemesis. I don't know if it's because of the damage in my brain but but I do use the yellow oxide. I'm more comfortable with it. However, I like making my own green the way you teach it with that black. It's all of the blue and the black the Olive. I said I sold all of my paintings. I mean, I couldn't believe it.
My children and grandchildren say my paintings are it. Because I don't see like everyone else because of the stroke. Now I know there are other people out there painting that have had a stroke and it took their sight and so it took their peripheral and which leaves you with the detailed vision, but my eyes are not filtering. Light is how I'm gonna end up all the way blind. But my eyes don't change they. They, you won't know. I'm blind because the color won't change. The damage is not my eyes. The damage is my brain. Do you have any suggestions? II do my color board. I bought the entire series of the color theory worth every time. Absolutely. Your paints are the most magnificent paints. And you teaching, I mean a four-year-old can shut down the paint. That's because you're that excellent in to me. You truly are because I'm able to do it, which just blows me away. And others I just need. To maybe I fear the yellow or something else you know, in my brain, making it look fluorescent or wrong. I'm the only one that sees I know.
You're not an eye Doctor I know. You're not, you can't solve them all. But is there?
A kind of a true test to maybe train my eye on that yellow.
I can paint roses like a mad hatter thanks to you. But the yellow ones no I don't know why thank you. Thank you. I know I wrote a novel. Thank you so much and to everybody. That watches this and it's starting to paint. He's the most magnificent teacher. These are the most wonderful paints in it. He told you it's pure pigment. It's not your. Your dollar store paint so if you're going to learn his lessons. I suggest you purchase his paint which ISIS worth its weight in God. Bless II don't. You probably don't have time to read this but and I know nobody probably reads my comments but if anybody out there is blind like I am and you can chime in. I would appreciate it because that is the only color I i don't know wife and I do love that burt c n n and blue

I have really enjoyed watching you paint this lovely design and appreciated your response to my previous question about acrylic. I am learning so much and thank you for the time you spend in explaining aspects of painting and medium use. I have searched for your acrylics online and find they are not available in Australia (I live in Adelaide). I have an enormous pile of JoSonja Gouache tubes (more than 20 years old now and still excellent) but would love to be able to try another acrylic to work with extender or retarder medium - any suggestions?

Hello, I have just ‘discovered’ you and of course subscribed  I have been making a big mess for a while now, some minute happy accidents, a couple of small OK’s, one or two nerh! and the occational blood curdling scream - think Edvard Munch, but mainly a mess. I have learnt so much in this tutorial I can’t believe it, that’s not to say I can apply the learning. My visions seem to get stuck in my head, right side of my brain is but an infant, I can draw ok, but painting...Grrrr Thank you so much for your sage advice all through the video.
