A little early for huge accolades. This game gives hope that Bama made the right choice. Win or loose representing Alabama with class is more important than the wins. So far it’s looking good.
Lucky break with QB going out (5 for 5 when he went out). We were getting gashed (150 yds like last week) again on the ground. Blown coverages deep just like last week, and like last week either second-rate or inexperienced qb missed them. If both aren't somehow fixed,... fuggetaboutit. Sure made no improvement in those areas over the past week.
Same gashes thru D-line as last week. Same wide open receivers deep as last week (missed by inexperienced backup). He says a lot of good things to build on, so they better start building like beavers. Great olayers sbd great olays sporadically but just getting gashed and blowing coversges isnt going to cut it soon.
When you say “wide open” receivers, where exactly is that receiver in the reads? Is it the hot route on the play? There’s always going to be “wide open” receivers when the ball is released
Roll tide!!!!!!!!
