      @Tiger It essentially felt like a late 70s/early 80s promotion except in the early 90s. Cornette is a traditionalist and he set up SMW for other traditionalists who were no longer satisfied with the increasingly “sports entertainment” (for lack of a better term) presentation of the WWF and WCW.
      If you like that previously mentioned era of wrestling, you’ll LOVE SMW. If you don’t like that era, then SMW isn’t for you.

    • @insupportofjunhado
      @insupportofjunhado 3 года назад

      Yes, he said he participated in certain things to entertain Vince McMahon that never should have made it to television by sometimes did. He also said, when pressed by McMahon, that he came up with the finish to the Montreal screw job based on a double cross that happened in the same building fifty years prior. He said he didn't think McMahon would go through with it and that they should have just done a disqualification, but ended up leaving the building when he saw they were indeed going to do a double cross.
      Granted, the "screw job" wasn't his fault per se. Triple H also said there should have been a double cross.
