      Toxic female hypocrisy dictates men are always to blame, regardless of the facts. Disregard the fact there are bad apples on both sides and them being picked intentionally. She doesn't try to convince you/everyone, she affirms the feel good delusions of her sexist female target audience. Just like almost all media outlets choose to side with their audience, spinning a narrative, rather than stating objective facts. While somewhat scummy, it is still being done with survival in mind. The weird thing about woke beer is that women generally aren't even the target audience for this product. Literally worst product to go woke. Budwiser's fail was predetermined. It literally couldn't have gone any other way. They chose to alienate their actual target audience.

    • @user-xi3jg1eu8v
      @user-xi3jg1eu8v 14 дней назад +34

      @KirscheVerstahl According to several searches about brewing beer, a 5 gallon batch uses a reasonable minimum of one ounce of hops, with the amount increasing drastically depending on the desired type of beer, with double digit amounts of ounces per 5 gal. batch not being unheard of.
      That one thousand pounds of hops becomes 16 thousand ounces. Given 3 ounces of hops are used per 640-ounce (5 gallons times 16) batch of beer, you will get about 3.4 million ounces of beer out of those hops. That comes out to about 213 thousand pounds of beer, or about 142 thousand 24-ounce stadium cans.
      For reference, the Dodger stadium has a capacity of 56 thousand people. Depending on how much of that capacity is filled, that supply is going to last somewhere between 2-10 games.
      ...out of 81 home games for this season, for one team, in just one of the 4 major US stadium sports. And not even the biggest one.
      For a more direct comparison, even if you try and stretch out the hops as far as you could. You will get a little under 3 thousand and 30 hectolitres of beer from them. I use that term because the Miller Corporation says that they sold 83 MILLION of them in 2023. That means that those hops they gave out couldn't possibly make even a single percent OF a single percent of what they managed to brew last year.
      Small wonder on why they pulled the campaign so quickly.

    Ancient beer was made by sumerian women. It was very different to what we know, and no one uses that brewing method anymore.
    Millenia later, when new agriculture tech became available, monks made the process we use for modern beer, which was a lot cleaner.

    I remember hearing about this 'campaign' a while back, though can't remember where, and they pointed out that the commercial mentions not only sending in your own stuff, but also looking through your parents' and relatives' stuff to steal the old beer memorabilia and send it to miller to be destroyed. Also the blatant rewriting of history

    I can only speak for my own country, but yeah.. Back in ye olden days, it was pretty common that women where the ones brewing, since the men where out doing the hard outdoors work. But this is back in the days where brewing of beers where done on farms, by the women in the household and basically on any farm you could find, they'd have a brew.
    Things are a bit different today, where it's either big factories or micro breweries.. Doesn't mean that women, in general, was kicked out of the breweries.. It means that women selected other types of jobs of their own volition.. Which is the most damning thing about the Feminist movement.. They lack the capacity to see that women are capabebly of making a decision on their own.

    No one wants to say it because they'll be labelled a sexist if they do, but seeing as I'm a guy and I know people like her already think I'm sexist anyway...
    Can we just be honest and admit that the reason she's upset is because she's aware of how guys look at those girls in the adverts and how they don't look at her like that while she wants them to?
    It's always got something to do with jealousy when it's this, they can scream sexist however loud they want, it doesn't matter what they say, their viewpoints come from a place of "I wish that was me" and seeing as they can't get to that point because they don't want to put the effort in, they decide to call it and the people who like it very horrible names.

    Yeah for the most part women don't drink beer. 80s had women drinking wine coolers...late 90s brought on Zima...currently women are drinking the flavored hard seltzer like White Claw. Beer companies will never have a large demographic of female drinkers regardless of the quality of the product.
