Nice to meet you, I'm Japanese. Xu Chu did a great job. There once was a military commander in Japan named Keiji Maeda. I think it will sell well in Japan if it is commercialized. Thank you for your support 😉
This is based on an original Chinese manhua IP. Xu Chu himself is named after the historical Wei general, fans of Dynasty Warriors and Three Kingdoms would recognize the name of one of Cao Cao's Crazy Tiger General.
Nice! Would have been great if they had included a bunch of figure specific effects parts like flamethrower effects for the gauntlets and jet flames for his mace etc..
CONS: I was hoping that this had articulated fingers to reduce plastic usage. The tip of the shoulder pads could hit the helmet. No stand or additional effects for the lion heads. PROS: Premium looking finish. Metal framed. LED gimmicks. I pre-ordered one.
I like the idea of reducing the pointiness. I've noticed chinese reviewers hate the previous wave of chinese themed kits/figs that are nothing but hedgehogs. This is a good step to move away from that trend and make them far more playable than the previous ones.
Since the show & comic story of this is really about a spirit come into existence to fight evil spirits at the bidding of a man of that bloodline, and not really a robot mecha , I kind of hesitate to add this to my collection of giant robots and mecha figures. I'm not impressed by the story but the design of the Yoitrax has got me, even though I'm also not a fan of mixing ancient Chinese warrior gear with say Japanese warrior gear with one another. The animal heads and staff and chest are a top design. Maybe once its on my shelf, I'll try the next season of the show. Awesome review as usual.
@@sigerlion8608 I mean they both look similar (not exactly the same) since they are both red, fiery and incorporating the tiger motif in their designs. Would be nice if they are of similar height standing beside each other.
@@tanleeseng9569 Takeda is a Japanese samurai and Xu Chu is a Chinese general. Personally, I think they look very different since they are from different countries and their armor reflects that.

Excellent review as always. I’ve had my eye on this for a while, looks pretty cool. Waiting on mine to release and ship.

It's great to see a figure that isn't sharp points everywhere. Trying to pose a metal porcupine just isn't fun after a while.

It's similar to Takeda Shinken. Is it from the same company?
no
@@lubiandedashu When will you release?
Just got mine and he looks great. It seems like the hands aren't able to swivel or rotate at the wrist. Anyone else notice this?
Do you keep these figures or do you send them back to the seller?
Any word on a release date for this figure yet?
released just now. in stock in China
@@sigerlion8608 Thanks, mine shipped last week.

Haha, I thought this was supposed to have the armor pieces on runners - a metal frame model kit like the recent ones that have came out.
第一眼讓我聯想到魔物獵人的雄火龍鎧甲
Would be interesting to put it side by side Moshow Takeda Shingen as both mechs are spotting very similar design themes 🤔
Really? Which parts? I thought they look completely different since they are from different source materials?

i think they are built up based on Red Astray from Bandai so their forms are similar
@@tanleeseng9569 I agree! It would be great to see them side-by-side.
I bet there will be someone that said "God of War Hercules Lion Knuckle at some point...
yep look very much like Hercules' Nemean Cestus. they could be much better if they are bigger
Holy shit, this looks badass!
沒有典韋嗎?
没有 不过以后会出
机甲真的不错 , 只是武器太少了 !!!
Need a stand base
Gundam : Sun Wukong
定了,要明年才到,他奶奶个熊
Kinda looks like Sun Wukong and kratos mix together (孫悟空とクラトスが混ざってるみたい)
OP is Chinese.
