Yep! I hope to someday visit Toronto to see them for myself. The Westinghouse GTO VVVF inverter is super rare! I'm honored to live so close to one of the last installations of them. (The T1s sound cooler though, haha!)
Originally, DART was too, but they added the middle section. You're right about the bells... That's a light rail for ya! Yours also sound cooler because the DART only has a 3 power setting master controller, whereas I assume the TTC T1 has infinitely variable control. You can draw out the accelerations a lot longer and they sound so cool. A beautiful example at 2:09 - ruclips.net/video/usAJQwYZjfc/видео.html
charles davis I've been to the station a few times it's never really been crowded enough to warrant it at least from my experience, only reason it's underground is because of the freeway other then that it's not particularly in a dense area like you would think an underground station would be
If you go on on dart to North Carrolton Frankford, when you leave DownTown Carrolton station, if you look at your right (if you are sitting at the right side of the train) you will see the rails for Silver Line
Hmm... Not entirely sure I want to do a face reveal. Not that anything is a secret, there are a few videos where I talk, and a few where you can see my reflection, but I'm not really the subject of my videos so I never felt the need
I think if I got massively popular and for some reason many many people wanted it I'd look into it, but until then I think it's kinda fun being a little elusive. If I'm ever out filming though and you see me you're welcome to say hi!
3:21 I live in toronto and I can say that noise is very familiar. The TTC's T1s have the same motor.

@@NTxRE I know thats because they don't have a trolley bell ringing constantly.
also there are more of them. Every axle on a T1 is powered

@@NTxRE The T1s have a 6 power setting controller. The prolonged acceleration noise is what happens in a notch 2 departure which are rather rare.
If this station opened with the tunnels in 1997, it would probably have been Red Line only like Mockingbird until 27 September 1999.
What
CityPlace/Uptown Station, This is the, Red Line, Final Destination, Parker Rd Station, Next Stop, SMU/MockingBird Station
Platforms like this are the ones that need security. I'd love to be a conductor on one of those modern trains. It usually takes connections.
The train station and the kids
Train station and the other side of things. it is the most part of my friends

The only underground rail station in Texas entirely.
Not for too much longer! I'm excited to see the new stations the D2 subway has to offer!
Sadly knox/Henderson station was never completed
@@NTxRE Subway construccion starts soon btw
I'm very excited about it! I wonder if I'll be able to get any footage of the work being done

the next station is osgoode osgoode station
We have a few days related names of people who is the most of 8
Always forget to ask but would you ever do a face reveal at maybe 630, 650 or 700 subscribers?

@@NTxRE Yead I'd love to meet a railfan someday
@@NTxRE Oh, well that's fine
The trains each had different motors
