    Thank you very much Rabbi Farb. I am a protestant who wants to read Hebrew. So much is lost in translation. I get confused because some look alike, also the sofit. I have memorized the alephbeit. The dots and dashes are confusing. The mnemonic devices are quite helpful.

    I say this with absolute love and respect...but that big old star you have in the background is the star of Remphan as mentioned in Acts 7:43

      Ashekanizi hebrew accent is very bad due to European influence

      @@syedandrabi7334 The arabs and some sefaradim and yemenis kept the correct pronunciation. But I was pointing a spelling mistake here, another topic.

      Great point! However, we teach the American standard Hebrew dialect which has elements of Ashkenazi and Sephardic dialects, but also other influences. If there is enough interest, we may also offer classes in other dialects. What dialect would you most like to hear?
