The beginning of the battle is a text book example why artillery is the true lord of war and why bombardments are a valid real life strategy. Does my head in when so many other gaming channels start the attack with no artillery or air support and are surprised when half the attacking force just dies.
I actually liked it. In real life any general would just flatten the area with air and artillery before the attack. It frustrates me when attacking forces get killed by things that could have been wiped out by a well placed explosion.
