a 1.0 lupo with a sunroof that carried around cement and ladders out of the sunroof one day and 4 people in another with groceries/whatever tucked under legs never broke down once in 15 years
I’ve owned mine a couple years now, 04 Reg (face lift model) I bought it with a big folder of history, from a lady who looked after it really well, it wanted for nothing. 93k miles and still running sweet as a nut. 1.0 ‘Sport’ great run around and costs nothing to insure and really good on fuel.
Did you know that? All SEAT models have a name that has to do with the Spanish geography. For example, Arosa (or 'Arousa' in Galician) is the name of a 'ría' (sea inlet or estuary), and it's one of the five 'Rías Baixas' (Lower Rias)
@@jeremiaszleonski4102 the name Mii is about Samsung's mobile connectivity; it has nothing to do with the Spanish geography. Another fun fact: it's basically the same model as the VW Up! and the Skoda Citigo.
OK, having just inherited a 1.0 1999 Seat Arosa I would like to declare that the 1.0 is not underpowered or slow. I have been driving it since Christmas and have made a couple of trips from London to Brighton fully laden with two adults and two children. I have been very happy with its acceleration and ability to keep speed on hills and gradual gradients. I helped my sister find this car in 2007 as her first car and she had to have a 1 litre to keep insurance cost as low as possible. I did drive a few VW lupos at the time but if i remember correctly the 1.0 litre VW did not have power steering (or at best was an optional extra.) It is a fun car to drive and very comfortable. In the front you feel as if you are in a Polo or Fabia it is only when in the back that the legroom and actual length of the car shows itself. My car has only covered 55000 miles and apart from some oil leakage and neglected HT leads etc is running well and uses very little petrol.
These things still show up on the road every now and then...This says something about the Arosa/Lupo reliability
Acquadelic bought my Arosa for 375 euros. And it had never broke down, only some cosmetic needs

What about Mii?
I want them to make a Seat SitInIt
Person A: "What are you driving these days?"
Person B: "I have a Seat...SitInIt"

Yeah, the very well known Spanish city called Exeo.

Why was it leaking oil? Did you get it fixed?
Yes new seals on the front drive shafts
It has only power if you rev it really hard, you do that?
02:44 hands on the top of the steering - very professional ;)
My 03 Arosa is still going strong! Only thing that's ever gone wrong is when I left my lights on overnight and drained the battery!
Michelle Newman’s idea of losing your patience is leaning into the steering wheel and whispering at it
lol
Ive always hated the base Ka’s plastic bumpers and the big plastic tumour you use to open the boot.
Ford Kar?? its ford Ka! The Brazilian Ka got a huge upgrade in 2008!! The seat could be called as "The Gol" in Brazil.
Spanish car and that car was matriculated in Madrid near 94`
Basically a copy of the VW Lupo city car with a badge and differences in the badges and equipment department.
Drop the back seats and you've got so much room. Also, the 1.4 ltr is far from underpowered. Crap review.
what if you need to carry 4 people? plus, 14 seconds is a lifetime
She's so miserable 😂
glove box as useless as a car? what?
As useless as "Ka's"
The Ford looks better
The ka only looks better as long as it’s the 1.6 luxury or sportka.
Not really
The Brazilian yes
