I've lived in the DC metro area since the Wizards were the Bullets. He has single handedly revived DC Basketball! Not even our hometown hero could do what he did to get our area back in to loving the sport. Now the Verizon center is packed every game! He's really the People's Champ! I love it!

gilbert is one of the most athletic PGs in the league, he just isnt dunkin on everyone just so he can do it. he has incredible body control, he can stay in the air forever, and he's incredibly strong and quick. athleticism isnt just jumping, but he CAN jump, just doesn't need to.
Gilbert and the wizards will be the best in the eastern conference, or at least no higher then #3. Also with the addition of Oberto thats big because he is a veteran who knows how to play and can give you 10 to 15 minutes, plus everyone will be healthy next year unless they get injured again. Wizards have enough talent to make it to the finals and are one of the deepest teams in the league, with Miller and Foye coming to D.C. Wizards '10 CHAMPS with Gil leading the way!!! GO WIZARDS!!!
Who hates when people say Gil isnt a great player and is having a bad year?? Well i know i do.. he missed the last 2 years and is coming back from 3 knee surgeries.. and he didnt know how to play in the new system with the new coach and with all the scorers on the team now,, so he was like i need to pass first instead of looking for the shot which brought his numbers down and never was able to find a rhythm because of that, but he declared he was looking to shoot 1st.. he's back! Friday: 34 pts
Think first... no Arenas, Haywood, or Stevenson last year. Now there healthy with additions of 2 players (Miller, Foye) that can get you 15 or 20 points a a game. So when you have.... Arenas, Jamison, Butler, Haywood, Miller, Foye, Stevenson, Blatche, Young.... that there can get you easily over 100 points a game and there D, has improved under Flip Saunders, and having Haywood back healthy PG: Arenas SG: Miller SF: Butler PF: Jamison C: Haywood Y aint that a good crew? + the bench
