A lot of comments here did not survive the test of time. He was found not guilty, therefore he was innocent. I wonder if anyone here who called him such bad things will now apologise?

@@remix4098 I’m first going to preface the following with… I’m not a Spacey superfan. I have a bit of a soft spot for K - Pax, and think he was awesome in a couple of other films that I’ve seen him in. But beyond that, I wasn’t rooting for him either way. Just that justice is always done carefully, correctly, and in the most appropriate way
( So just paraphrasing what I’ve reread on the case ) ;
- He was found innocent by a jury who took 12 hours over 2 and a half days to come to their verdict.
- He was found innocent of all nine charges including sx-ual assault, indecent assault, and causing a person to engage in penetrative sx-ual activity. ( To be found innocent of all nine charges… especially charges like that, is really, really hard if you’re guilty )
- None of the accusers have continued to try any further legal action or pursue other avenues.
- No settlements outside of court have been made ( which is usually a good sign, that someone doesn’t want something to be made public.)
A lot of people that have worked with him or interviewed him, think he’s an awful, awful man…horrible to staff, rude, demanding, egotistical, supercilious… but nevertheless he’s had his trial, and he’s been found innocent by a jury of his peers, and that’s that.
I wouldn’t care, or worry about it… Unless something else appears in the news and it starts all over again!
