Hugh Sloan has become my favorite “good guy” of the whole Watergate scandal. I looked up the rest of his life, and he truly seems to have been decent to his wife, children, and other people. Nice to find out! Looking for a biography but haven’t found one yet. Maybe you have to be more “exciting” to get one written about you, but Sloan gets my vote for Best Guy. Feel fortunate to have this uploaded. Thanks!

I met Hugh Sloan in 97 as an employee of Woodbridge Foam. Mr Sloan was entering the building as I was leaving it during a heavy downpour- I politely turned down an offer for his umbrella but goes to show you the character of the man. Mr Sloan was one of the nicest most decent people I’ve ever met;: hope he is doing well in his 82nd year.
