One nice additionally cool thing about it is the sun hits right across the top part of Brick Lane (and its great graffiti) even when the sun is very low in the sky, giving nice 'golden hour' moments of sundown. If you were making a very long walk of it, you could then either head south to the Thames and walk east along the Thames. Or you could go west until you start connecting with the awesome canals that run through places like King's Cross and into very punk-rock-ish Camden.
