Factors Influencing Transition of Children from Primary to Secondary Schools in Northern Uganda.

  • The study was carried out in the six sub-counties of northern Uganda and set out to investigate child, family, community, and school-related factors that influence children's transition from primary to secondary schools. Of the total (296) respondents, 75% obtained admission to secondary school, and only 69.9% enrolled in secondary schools.
